We'll start our coverage for this update with a look at how the Top 5 looks coming out of the summer:

The #1 ranked prospect in this class continues to be [player_tooltip player_id='2893338' first='Chance' last='Finlayson'] out of the St. George's School in Rhode Island. The 6'6" wing is a physical mismatch for opponents, with his combination of positional size, strength, and athleticism. He's a tough, two-way rebounder, can defend in the paint or on the perimeter, and is capable of initiating the break as a grab and go rebounder. He recently picked up his first Division I offer from Providence.

Checking in at #2 is [player_tooltip player_id='2571883' first='Oli' last='Higgins'] out of the Newman School in Massachusetts. The 6'10" forward was a standout on the MADE Hoops circuit this summer and impressed in his first showing with Newman at the NEPSAC Showcase. He has terrific length, is incredibly mobile for his size, and oozes potential as an inside-out scorer. He'll be a fun prospect to track over the coming years.

Next up in the rankings, at #3 is [player_tooltip player_id='2571919' first='Alex' last='Weaver'] out of the Tilton School in New Hampshire. Arguably the top perimeter scorer in this class, Weaver heads to Tilton after a standout two years in Connecticut. He plays with impressive change of speed off the bounce, can really light it up from behind the arc, and has the ability to defend at a high level at the point of attack.

At #4 is [player_tooltip player_id='2630700' first='Tighe' last='Arache'] out of the St. Paul's School in New Hampshire. The 6'5" guard is primed for a breakout sophomore campaign at St. Paul's as he's added strength and is playing with more confidence than ever before. He's a gifted three-level scorer that is terrific at getting to his spots off the bounce and elevating into his mid-range game. On top of that, he's a versatile defender that makes an impact on the glass.

Rounding out the Top 5, at #5, is [player_tooltip player_id='2571904' first='Aidan' last='McGrath'] out of Thayer Academy in Massachusetts. The 6'8" lefty has a big frame with broad shoulders and plays with plus athleticism around the rim. He's capable of knocking down shots from behind the arc, plays with a good motor on both ends of the floor, and shows the ability to score out of the post with impressive footwork.
