A repeat junior by way of Southern Maryland Christian, momentum has been building for Patton throughout the spring and summer leading to a debut within the top 25 of our updated rankings. Patton is a versatile wing with natural scoring instincts and evolving athleticism who began to percolate this spring on the Made Hoops circuit before putting together a breakout summer on the EYBL with Team Durant. He's followed that up with further standout showings on the camp circuit, showing his production his able to travel across settings against increasing levels of competition. With an extra year to finetune his skillset and hone in further on the growth of his jump shot, Patton should be the next in a long line of D1 products to emerge from Phelps over the past decade-plus.

Ray debuts in the top 30, representing a sizable jump from his spot in the Maryland 2027 rankings following his transfer and reclass from Damascus HS to Perkiomen. The type of polished off-ball wing who's built to thrive in both the prep school and D1 settings, Ray is a smooth perimeter weapon who thrives in the halfcourt on the strength of his dangerous 3-point stroke off the catch. He shows composure and a moderate skillset when attacking closeouts or pushing in transition, while also adding value on the other end as a rangy and intuitive defender with versatility across multiple positions. More of a high-volume scorer in his previous locale, Ray's ability to adapt to a structured role combined with his translatable physical tools make him a safe bet to generate D1 attention moving forward now with two years to continue to showcase himself to college coaches.

It's been a steady build for Diabate, who we first spotted in layup lines for Westtown late last fall and has slowly built his way into a legitimate prospect in the time since then. Originally from North Carolina, Diabate started high school as a soccer player and transferred up to Westtown from Delaware at around 6'4" with basketball as his secondary sport. He's continued to grow while shifting his focus to hoops and gradually blossoming into an inside-out weapon in the frontcourt. Diabate shows natural shooting touch out to the perimeter with flashes of dribble-drive ability and the added wrinkle as of late of using his newfound size and evolving athleticism to put in work around the rim. While still early in his process of getting used to his body and adding on-court experience, it's easy to see the long-term vision of a D1 frontcourt prospect down the line.

Making the move up from Delaware as a repeat junior from Early College HS, Lawrence-Mumford is more of a long-term bet but shows the foundational tools and development trajectory that give hope it'll pay off at the end of the day. While still a work in progress, he's blessed with elite length and fluidity for his size, showing natural timing and technique as a shot-blocker within a confined role that's projectable toward the D1 level. He shows flashes of touch offensively both at the rim and out to the midrange, with workable hands and timing while playing off of his guards. He'll have a lot of opportunity to be in the gym and play through mistakes over the next couple years which could pay off in a big way if he's able to continue putting the pieces together.

Price makes his debut in the 2028 rankings after reclassing back from 2027 and transferring this fall from Bonner-Prendie (PA) to Friends Select. Having been a younger rising senior, it's a move that makes sense for the Delaware native as he'll have an extra year to build up his body prior to college and will be more of a focal point for the Falcons than he would have gotten the chance to be for Bonner. He struggled to find his footing at times last season but showed strong flashes this summer in both scholastic and AAU settings that were a welcome reminder as to why he was considered among the more promising underclassmen in Delaware. Price has the talent to rise further as things move forward if he can capitalize on the extra reps he'll get in his new environment.
