He was flying around, making plays all over the floor. He was locking up defensively and was scoring the ball at a high level. His jump shot continues to improve, knocking down on 5+ threes in two games. He had a couple games this weekend scoring around 30 points, catching fire from deep all weekend. I saw him hit on five three-pointers in about three minutes on Sunday, letting it fly with no hesitation from a few feet beyond the three-point line. He is one of the top defenders in the state, causing so much disruption with his ball pressure and lateral quickness. He looked great pushing the pace in transition, making the correct decisions to score himself or find a teammate. The incoming senior guard also continues to improve as a shooter from the perimeter. He has played most of the spring and summer on the EYCL circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'], but dominated running with Forward Thinking in Shakopee. He is a lightning quick guard that can create off the dribble and torch your scoring from the perimeter. He hit on several three-point looks, most of which coming off the dribble. I've liked him as a true point guard, being able to conduct an offense and get everyone involved, as his vision and passing were on full display. He was so tough to stop on drives to the basket, being able to absorb contact and finish strong through traffic. His speed was on full display in the open floor, as he could make a play on defense, then quickly run the floor for a score. He is super quick when creating off the dribble, having no trouble blowing right by defenders. He looked great when getting to pull-up jumpers in the mid-range, as his range also extends to beyond the arc.
