AAU season concluded this past weekend. Many college coaches absorbed their evaluations and contacted their favorite hoopers in the interim.

Brady Harris Brady Harris 6'4" | SG/SF Cumberland Gap | 2027 State TN (Tennessee Travelers AAU) earned an offer from Bryan College. Brady will finish his high school career in one year as the All-Time leading scorer and All-Time leading rebounder for Cumberland Gap High School. Harris intends to attend several college camps in the next 60 days with hopes of attracting more basketball scholarship offers.

Forward Ryan Wingard Ryan Wingard 6'6" | SF McCallie | 2027 State #156 Nation TN (McCalie) picked up a Cleveland State University offer after his Top Shot Nashville 17u team won their bracket at UAA Finals in Louisville. Wingard is a above average athlete with the ability to finish with a flourish in the open floor. He is a little raw in the halfcourt but improved quite a bit there in the last two years. McCallie will be strong this upcoming season. It will be interesting and entertaining to see them operate in the halfcourt. Head Coach Kenneth White will have the talent in his locker room to have a special season. Wingard is likely to gain about a half dozen more D1 offers in the next six-nine months.

North Florida, Chattanooga, Liberty, and Wofford each reached out to Segond Sompa Segond Sompa 6'9" | PF Grace Christian-Knoxville | 2027 State TN (Grace Christian) within the last week. Boston University just offered Sompa. Arkansas State University, Oral Roberts, Richmond, Robert Morris, and Tennessee Tech offered before this month.

Isaiah Williams Isaiah Williams 6'4" | SF Clinton | 2027 State TN will visit Johnson University 7/23/26. Williams is a tall wing guard for Clinton High School. He played AAU with Tennessee Run 17u.

Mid-week Class of 2028 DJ Okoth DJ Okoth 6'7" | SF Bartlett | 2028 State #6 Nation TN (Bartlett / Alabama Fusion 16u) earned an offer from University of Kentucky.

State Champion Malachi Hill Malachi Hill 6'1" | PG Bartlett | 2029 State TN (Bartlett) is the hottest name from the Class of 2029. He earned offers from Ole Miss, Murray State, University of Louisiana Monroe, Jacksonville University, and University of Tennessee Martin. The biggest news for Malachi is that he and his MoKan 15u team won Peach Jam (15u).

Lofton Looney Lofton Looney 5'10" | PG Tri Cities Christian | 2027 State TN (Tri-Cities Christian) pulled in a Palm Beach Atlantic University offer. Looney gets overlooked by most of the state as he typically balls east of Knoxville. His breakout game around New Year's Eve up northeast at the Classic at Tennessee High. Palm Beach Atlantic University's head coach is Cole Rose. Coach Rose was a hard-working assistant coach for Lee University a few years back. He consistently did and does extend the first offer to players...players that went on to gain multiple other offers. His eye for scouting is rarely matched.

Benji Prince (Station Camp) intends to camp with Johnson University, Tusculum, Bryan College, and Rhodes College in the near-term.

Malik Sanders Malik Sanders 6'4" | SF Antioch | 2028 State TN added a Tennessee State University offer.

Houghton offered Marcus Butler Jr Marcus Butler Jr 6'4" | CG MHEA | 2027 State TN . (MHEA).

Former State Champion Kobi Jackson Kobi Jackson 5'10" | PG/CG Independence | 2027 State TN (Independence) earned an offer from Georgia Gwinnett's Grizzlies.

Point guard Kohl Ward Kohl Ward 5'11" | PG Tyner Academy | 2027 State TN (Tyner Academy) was contacted by many colleges in the last week: Ouachita Baptist, Mars Hill, Mercer, Tennessee Tech, Lenoir Rhyne, UNC Pembroke, Guilford, and Lindsey Wilson.

Covenant College offered nimble forward Guro Lind Guro Lind 6'6" | PF Grace Christian-Knoxville | 2027 State TN (Grace Christian Academy). Cairn University offered him Wednesday.
