Vargas consistently got to his spots on the floor and showed a polished mid range game, knocking down several tough, contested shots. His ability to change speeds and stay under control allowed him to create separation and make plays throughout the day. Running the point he consistently made the right reads and kept his team organized. He consistently established deep position and finished efficiently around the basket. His impressive wingspan allowed him to play above defenders, clean up rebounds and create easy scoring opportunities. He played with tremendous confidence throughout the day never hesitating to make a play when his team needed one. That confidence was on full display with arguably the shot of the day, as he used a pump fake to get his defender off balance before stepping into a cold blooded side step three to win Game 1. Outside of the game winner, Granat consistently pushed the pace, put defenders on their heels and attacked with purpose.
