Today, we'll continue our NEPSAC Showcase Standouts series with a look at the standout Scorers.

Scorers come in all shapes and sizes, get it done with athleticism and IQ, can get buckets from multiple levels, and know how to operate with or without the basketball in their hands - and these guys check all those boxes.

Below are five prospects that stood out in Worcester with their ability to put the ball in the basket:

Jean, a rising senior out of the Brunswick School in Connecticut, proved to be one of the craftiest scorers in attendance at the showcase. The 6'2" guard has a quick first step, is a twitchy athlete, and does a nice job of changing directions in traffic. He's able to get to the rim at will, where he uses his length to his advantage when finishing over size. He's capable of making tough shots in the mid-range, moves well without the ball, and does a nice job of knocking down threes in catch and shoot situations. He's a scholarship level prospect that should be a major reason why Brunswick's gym will be a popular stop for college coaches this fall.

Payne, a rising senior out of the Brimmer & May School in Massachusetts, showed the ability to take over games with the ball in his hands. Few prospects in the region can get to their spots off the bounce like Payne does. He's a creative handler, elevates to finish over defenders in the mid-range, and has a whole bag of tricks as a finisher around the rim. His strength is an asset that allows him to play through contact, while he also shows an understanding of how to use screens to get open off the ball. He's a D1 prospect that left the showcase with interest from Albany, Boston U, Hofstra, Holy Cross, Lehigh, and others.

Odugbela, a rising junior out of the St. Andrew's School in Rhode Island, proved to be one of the top three level scorers at the event. The 6'5" guard has great length and is quite shifty with the ball in his hands, using both traits to his advantage as a finisher. He's a plus athlete that also plays with plenty of wiggle and continues to evolve as a scorer inside the paint. On top of that, he's one of the regions' top perimeter shooters and is capable of knocking down jumpers both off the catch and as a creator off the bounce. The junior guard has picked up offers from Marquette, Providence, and West Virginia since the showcase ended.

Dehaney, a rising senior out of Proctor Academy in New Hampshire, proved to be a tough cover for opponents with his combination of handle, shot making, and off ball movement. The 5'11" guard is a terrific shot creator that knows how to create seperation off the bounce and does a nice job of finishing plays in the paint. He's got great touch around the basket, does a nice job of playing off of a live dribble, and is capable of heating up in a hurry as a shooter from the outside. The big-time scorer should have plenty of suitors this fall and could attract coaches from all levels of college basketball into his recruitment.

Arache, a rising sophomore out of the St. Paul's School in New Hampshire, showed off his shot creation ability while playing with more poise and confidence than ever before. Now pushing 6'5", he's filled out his frame a little and is playing with more strength and athletic pop as a driver. He knows how to play off of two feet in the paint, does a great job of elevating into his mid-range jumper, and is terrific in catch and shoot situations. He continues to elevate his game and add dimensions both on and off the ball as a scorer. He'll be on the scholarship radar going forward and should be a key piece for St. Paul's this winter.

Our NEPSAC Showcase Standouts series will continue tomorrow with a look at the Posts.

Today, we'll continue our NEPSAC Showcase Standouts series with a look at the standout Scorers.
