2027’s Standout Shooting Guards

The 6'1" guard was one of the breakout performers of the NEPSAC Showcase for me, showcasing serious competitive fire, the ability to play on or off the ball, and elite shot making from behind the arc. He has some wiggle with the ball in his hands, does his work early to be shot ready on the catch, and even shows some creativity as a scorer in the mid-range. A power guard that makes winning plays on both ends of the floor, he's capable of defending multiple positions and scoring in multiple ways. At 6'3", he has good positional size, can really attack closeouts off the bounce, and has a frame that's ready for the next level. The 6'2" guard was another breakout performer at the NEPSAC Showcases in June, establishing himself as one of the top perimeter shooters in New England. While he can make shots with the best of them, he impressed with his able to create space off the bounce and to stop on a dime and elevate into his mid-range jumper. A standout in the RIIL, the 6'3" guard has continued to stand out with his ability to make shots from all over the floor. He did a nice job of developing his frame over the last 12 months and is using the added strength to his advantage as a finisher around the rim. He makes high IQ plays offensively, knows how to use screens to get open, and finishes with touch around the rim. The 6'1" guards standout skill is his ability to knock down perimeter jumpers, but he's also shown some evolution as a creator with the ball in his hands. He knows how to use screens to create space as a shooter, finds teammates in scoring spots off his drives, and has the ability to play through contact as a scorer around the rim.
