As we continue to recap the month of June, we have to recognize how important this month has become in the recruiting landscape. If you include the NBPA Top 100, we have 50% of the live evaluation periods in the month of June along with individual colleges/universities holding team camps on their own campus. We've already touched on a batch of 2027s who had a strong month and now we're going to look at a really strong group of 2028s who owned the month of June!

Taylor possesses an elite skill and that is his ability to hit threes on a high volume at high efficiency. We've seen him all spring [program_tooltip program_id='2078529' first='Strong' last='Center'] PJ 16u where he was consistently their top performer as he's proving to be one of NC's top pure shooters in this 2028 class. We were able to see him suit up for Middle Creek at the Phenom Team Camp where it didn't look too different than what we've become used to in the travel ball season. What makes Taylor's production and impact on this Middle Creek team even more impressive is when you consider the fact that he spent most of last season on JV, preparing himself for the potential opportunities ahead. Taylor has a chance to flirt with 20 PPG for Middle Creek next season if the month of June was a real indicator of what was to come.

Another shooter from the Southwest Wake County area that really showed out this month was [player_tooltip player_id='3637699' first='JP' last='Portland'] of Holly Springs. He's proven to be a reliable shooter with [program_tooltip program_id='2375668' first='SW15H' last='Elite'] 16u UA Rise over the course of the first portion of the travel ball season. Through the month of June, Portland was able to take his volume from distance to another level, including a big performance last weekend at the Phenom Hoops Team camp where he exploded for a 26 point half. Portland's size, quick release, and deep range allow him to command a ton of attention from the opposing defense, allowing there to be a ton of space for his teammates to operate on the offensive end of the floor. Portland continues to emerge as one the premier jump shooters in the 2028 class and this June was surely a sign of things to come.

Dulin continues to showcase his athletic pop, feel for the game, and emerging skillset with Davie County who had a really strong June as a unit. Dulin is a truly difference making athlete on the wing as he's a high level straight line driver who is constantly looking to finish with authority above the rim. Dulin can operate in ball screens comfortably as he's got more than enough poise to make plays for others both in transition or the half court. The progress he's made in his ability to make shots is consistently improving and his development timeline should result in Dulin being a steady riser in these 2028 rankings as updates are made over time. This Davie County team has a lot of next level prospects suiting up for them and Dulin will be a huge part of their inevitable success.

[player_tooltip player_id='3689366' first='Makhai' last='Manning'] has been a really important piece to [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] 16u 3SSB and their success thus far this spring and made his unofficial Southern Durham debut in the month of June and found a way to fit in basically immediately. [player_tooltip player_id='2623267' first='AJ' last='Morman'] had some injury stuff he was dealing with, making the addition of Manning that much more vital to their success over the course of this month. Manning did a really good job orchestrating offense for this group with his naturally unselfish approach along with showing how impactful he can be as a scorer. He had to man full time PG duties with Morman out and proved that he is more than capable of holding that spot down when needed. In the moments we saw him share the backcourt with Morman, the two worked very well together as they're a remarkably difficult backcourt to contain with their ability to create offense. Look out for Manning with this Southern Durham group over next season!

Brunson is a guy we've been high on for a while and it's great to see his recruitment really pick up with a lot of that stemming from some special performances at the NCBCA live period event in Bermuda Run. Rutgers, NC State, Nebraska, and College of Charleston are just some of the programs to offer Brunson over the course of this month and it was a truly special string of performances for one of the nation's most athletic prospects. The motor, physical tools, and pace Brunson plays the game with make him a two way game breaker. His profile will only rise in the near future as his got a tendency to make highlight plays, put up monster performances, and really look like he's having a lot of fun as he's doing it.

This Greenfield team had so many high profile moments last season with [player_tooltip player_id='3484960' first='Cameron' last='Moore'] playing a key role through it all while showing flashes of potential that he could be a feature guy for this group in the very near future. Well, the future is now and Moore looks more than ready to be the face of a group looking to defend their NCISAA State Championship. Moore's recruitment has picked up and that's because his game directly translates to the live period as he completely understands how to utilize his physical gifts to impact winning games. Moore gets off the floor with ease, finishes around the rim at a high rate, and is capable of guarding multiple positions on the floor. He can even initiate offense and hit outside shots from time to time with the frequency of those events increasing rapidly. He's already ranked really high in a stacked 2028 class and I can assure you he will rise again in the next update.
