Taylor possesses an elite skill and that is his ability to hit threes on a high volume at high efficiency. We’ve seen him all spring Strong Center PJ 16u where he was consistently their top performer as he’s proving to be one of NC’s top pure shooters in this 2028 class. We were able to see him suit up for Middle Creek at the Phenom Team Camp where it didn’t look too different than what we’ve become used to in the travel ball season. What makes Taylor’s production and impact on this Middle Creek team even more impressive is when you consider the fact that he spent most of last season on JV, preparing himself for the potential opportunities ahead. Taylor has a chance to flirt with 20 PPG for Middle Creek next season if the month of June was a real indicator of what was to come.

Continuing with the theme of shooters it would make sense to shift our focus over to Taylor who had some really big games for Strong Center PJ at the 252 Showcase and was lights out from beyond the arc on Sunday morning in our viewing. The lefty has full belief in his ability to make shots from distance and the results proved him right, the sophomore has good positional size and finished with 32 points in that win over Cap City Durham. Look out for Taylor in June with Middle Creek as he’s making a real case for himself as a next level prospect to monitor and he’ll surely land in the next 2028 rankings update.
