Lewis is a guy we've seen multiple times now as he continues to prove himself as a capable backcourt scorer with this Fireball 2028 group. Lewis showed his multi-level touch where he uses his blend of touch and length to create a set of tools on that end of the floor that allow him to produce with consistency. He makes outside shots off the catch or bounce, has a nose for the basketball, and long arms that allow him to finish in traffic. He's still learning some areas of the game but is proving to make real progress and should be a guy in the 919 that will see a boost in production next high school season.

Brown gave this Cap City Clutch 16u team really high level production all weekend long in the 252 Showcase as they went home with a championship in that age division. Brown touches the paint whenever he feels like it and is a strong finisher with either hand, making him an unstoppable force in certain situations. He's got great pace with the ball in transition, using change of speed to get the defense out of whack before making a play. Brown was a key piece for this Laney team on their special playoff run as a Sophomore and is lined up for a really big Junior season!

Jacobsen is an under the radar shooter that had a really strong weekend with Team Breakout 17u at the 252 Showcase including a 20 Point performance in a big win. He can really heat up from the outside and swing games for whatever team he's suiting up for while also possessing the ability to compete on the glass with bigger guys. Jacobsen plays a classic low maintenance style and based on his production in the high school season at Faith Homeschool where he averaged nearly 18 Points per game, he's more than comfortable in a primary role as well. Keep an eye on Jacobsen this spring and summer with Team Breakout.

Continuing with the theme of shooters it would make sense to shift our focus over to Taylor who had some really big games for [program_tooltip program_id='2078529' first='Strong' last='Center'] PJ at the 252 Showcase and was lights out from beyond the arc on Sunday morning in our viewing. The lefty has full belief in his ability to make shots from distance and the results proved him right, the sophomore has good positional size and finished with 32 points in that win over Cap City Durham. Look out for Taylor in June with Middle Creek as he's making a real case for himself as a next level prospect to monitor and he'll surely land in the next 2028 rankings update.

Hernandez can really score the basketball and he does it in a variety of ways for this Fireball 2027 group at the 252 Showcase including a game where he finished with 30 points after 9 made threes. It was a massive performance that really set the tone for the weekend for Hernandez. He can make outside shots, attack off the bounce, and really operate out of ball screens. Hernandez has a smooth and effortless release along with making multiple efforts on the glass and defensively. He'll find himself in the 2027 rankings at the next update in a few weeks and is making a real case for himself as a next level prospect.

Holden is a guy that has improved tremendously over the course of his high school career and now finds himself in a feature role with this Cap City Durham team while having his share of big performances. In the 252 Showcase, Holden showed up and displayed his ability to make shots, use his instincts as a cutter to get easy baskets, and make multiple efforts on the glass leading to extra possessions for his team. Holden is a guy that just does his job, no frills, he knows exactly who he is, and embraces whatever role he needs to fill in that game. Look out for him with this Cap City Durham team as he's got the shooting touch to swing a game and does the dirty work to help them win close ones.
