DJ had defenders on skates throughout the weekend. He was getting downhill with ease, and consistently made difficult lay-ups. He also showed off his facilitating skills, making perfect last second drop off passes to his forwards. While also finding his shooters on the wings and corners for quality chances. Hunter was also living at the free throw line, where he converted on a majority of his attempts. On top of all that, he had the one of the best shots of the weekend from a Nevada prospect. Hitting the game winning 3 at the buzzer against Oakland (CA). All in all, he truly impressed and came up in the clutch for Losee.

[player_tooltip player_id='2374248' first='Dashaun' last='Harris'] did his thing at Section 7 with his new squad. His deceptive ball-handling maneuvers allow him to elude defenders in the open court and on the way to the rack. His pace also stands out and he knows exactly when to hit the breaks to shake defenders. Between his speed, scoring and assists, he is a tough cover for just about any defender. Expect him to continue to turn heads at NLI.

[player_tooltip player_id='2280428' first='Jaylan' last='Virgil'] has started to settle in over Coronado. Giving them another scoring option thanks to his ability to skirt around opponents and weave through traffic. He also uses pace to set up driving lanes, and has the acceleration skills to hit the hole quickly. I watched him bury a couple of 3's as well, plus he dished it to his teammates when they had the better look. On the defensive end, Virgil stays on the move. And can poke the ball away or make deflections with his active hands.

The Bishop Gorman PG went to work down in Arizona. Giving defenders headaches all 3 days with his elite athleticism. Johnson's burst helped him create scoring opportunities both himself and his teammates. Plus he was getting to his jumper, connected on his 3-point attempts, and had a few dunks. Defensively, he was a pest and forced a good amount of turnovers. At the moment he has one Division I offer from Alabama St., but there could be more schools jumping on the bandwagon soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='2637204' first='Elijah' last='Booker'] has taken on an expanded role as he heads into his junior year. He was looking quite efficient out there, capitalizing on scoring chances often. Converting on both shots from the perimeter and lay-ups. Booker made his presence felt on the defensive end too. Where he applied consistent ball pressure and never stopped hustling. Look for him to keep it going next week at the Nevada Live Invitational.
