GBCA SE Regional Live Sunday Wing Talents

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Teams from the Southeast region descended on the Lakepointe Champions Center in Emerson, GA, for another edition of the GBCA SE Regional Live Period event. He got cooking from 3-land as the game went on, showing off a smooth stroke and a confidence that was palpable. Good length allowed him to pull past people using the bounce. As a rising sophomore, he's got time to marinate, but he was already impressive breaking down the defense and getting to the rim with effortless zeal. A superior passer with elite court vision, he projects as a PG, but there was clear wing skill on display. Very heady defender, sees passing lanes, and at 6-5 he can guard up to three spots on the floor for you. Showed off a good-looking stroke from distance, very smooth and polished-looking release. The blow-by from the catch off the wing was noticeable, and the finishing game was both parts acrobatic and polished. Loved his work away from the ball, as he was a willing cutter with eyes on openings and a strong general understanding of spacing and working within an offense. He's had to do a lot this month minus Peter Julius in the lineup, and it sometimes shows like he's forcing. What he's really showing coaches along the sidelines is his improvement in virtually all areas. Much better burst off the dribble, a markedly improved left hand which keeps defenses guessing, and more time with the ball has shown he can handle it some even though Mt Bethel has three other PG types on the floor.
