The setup man for Summit Country Day, Goins is tasked with taking care of the basketball, bringing the ball up the court and getting the ball to their studs in positions to score. An old school undersized point guard, Goins plays with toughness and an advanced basketball IQ. While Goins is at his best when he's setting up his teammates, he did knock down a couple set jumpers and even put back his own miss in transition. On a team that's loaded with talent, Goins will be a crucial piece for this group as he has varsity experience and doesn't need to score the basketball to make an impact.

Bertke had his way against a Princeton squad that played mostly backups looking to earn their stripes at the varsity level and were severely undersized against the point forward. Bertke did a nice job scoring off cuts where he kept the ball high when he caught it and quickly finished with his left hand. Mostly scoring off cuts, Bertke was active moving without the ball in his hands. Late in the game Bertke had a baseline drive where he threw down a monster dunk to help Lima Shawnee escape with a win. After a strong showing in Memphis during the spring live period with the [program_tooltip program_id='2075761' first='Ohio' last='Buckets'], Bertke will have a lot of eyes on him in Sandusky at Midwest Live.

It doesn't matter who, when or where the game is being played, [player_tooltip player_id='2125764' first='Ty' last='Rohrer'] is going to play balls to the wall no matter what. The type of effort he plays with in a June team camp game was different than just about anybody else I saw all day. While Centerville doesn't have as much top end talent as usual, the Elks have excellent toughness and Rohrer is one of their primary leaders this season. Knocking down a couple 3-pointers against Moeller, Rohrer's scoring ability will be relied upon this season for the Elks. In addition to Rohrer, fellow rising senior [player_tooltip player_id='2442536' first='Spencer' last='Maxwell'] caught fire late in the game as Centerville almost pulled off a big comeback win Vs Moeller in the most competitive game I saw all day.

Bellbrook got a big boost when the Sam brothers transferred in and Julian had a big day playing locally. Sam is a smooth and natural athlete for his height and age, allowing him to thrive in transition and attack closeouts off the dribble. When Sam is knocking down a high percentage of his 3-point shots he becomes very difficult to stop and he converted on a handful in Bellbrook's contest Vs defending state champion Trotwood-Madison. Look for Sam to start racking up the offers when college coaches put a greater emphasis on recruiting 2029 prospects.

Woeste was handing out buckets Vs Ferndale on Saturday as the skilled wing guard showed off his polished offensive game. One of the toughest covers in the 2029 class, Woeste has excellent footwork on his drives and changes directions and uses pivots at a high level. Another thing I love about Woeste's game is that every shot looks like it's going in. While Woeste had maybe 20-25 points against Ferndale, he had another 10-12 points spin in and out, meaning he could've easily eclipsed the 30 point mark against one of the better teams from Detroit. While Woeste was impressive as a freshman, I'd be shocked if he isn't scoring over 20 PPG this season based on what I saw on Saturday and I'd expect his efficiency to stay the same or improve from his freshman year marks of 46/36/80.

One of the most naturally talented prospects in Ohio's 2029 class, Ramsey has grown a couple inches and become a much better athlete since I last saw him back in December for Springfield. Ramsey has been popping off with highlight reel dunks the past couple months and his ability to rise up from the dunker spot or in transition was incredibly impressive to see live. Still needing a lot of time to sharpen his offensive skill, Ramsey is making strides as a play finisher right now. Bigs are the position where players are greater later and Rasmey is on a strong upward trajectory right now and will be a name to watch over the next few years from the Dayton area.

Moeller was without a couple of pieces which allowed me to catch some new faces in action. I came away impressed with Barber, a multi-sport athlete who has a strong base and frame. The rising sophomore forward impressed me with his strength, feel for the game and soft touch on mid-range jumpers and layups at the rim. The type of player who helps you win high school games, Barber checks a handful of boxes for his team and isn't afraid to do the dirty work. On a team stacked with top talent, it's crucial for Moeller's role players do play to their role and help their team win and that's exactly what I saw from Barber on Saturday.
