<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>***Use Code “ScottyB30” for 30% off your subscription***</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Who were the best of the best from the class of 2029 at the Riverside Brookfield Live Event?&nbsp; It is impossible to see everyone, but I was able to catch well over half of the teams at the event!&nbsp; Here is my <strong>Riverside Brookfield: Class of 2029 All Event Team</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2405910' first='Denym' last='Wallace'] (New Trier)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wallace is one of the most productive 2029 prospects early in the process.&nbsp; Physical five man that ran the floor really hard on a consistent basis.&nbsp; His toughness, nimble footwork, and touch shooting inside the paint are impressive.&nbsp; Efficient prospect who garners deep post position.&nbsp; Flashed Hartenstein push shot in the mid-range.&nbsp; Quality defender and plus rebounder.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3576059' first='Emurion' last='Jackson'] (East St. Louis)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jackson has star potential in the 2029 class.&nbsp; Long and rangy shooting guard with plus athleticism and a great skill set.&nbsp; Passing feel being able to play both on and off the ball.&nbsp; Capable three point shooter.&nbsp; His best asset right now might be his defense.&nbsp; Elite on ball wing and backcourt defender that is so disruptive on that end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3643306' first='Amari' last='Williams'] (Shepard)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams had a strong showing against Yorkville.&nbsp; The top center in the 2028 class is a broad shouldered five who has all the physical tools you look for at a young age.&nbsp; Got deep post position for scores, sealed on the block, and had a nice hook shot.&nbsp; Was solid rebounding and proved to be a sound shot blocker.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2918202' first='Kaden' last='McClellan'] (Bloom)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McClellan shined in their Saturday contest with his spot up shot making from the corners along with being able to create off the dribble in the mid-range for his pull up game.&nbsp; Quality passer that makes sound reads on the fly and is a scrappy on ball defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2915584' first='DK' last='Heard'] (Mt. Carmel)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Heard is a long and wiry small forward who ranks toward the top of the board in the 2029 class.&nbsp; High-motor wing that snatches rebounds in bunches and is a high level defender.&nbsp; As an offensive player he is a slashing wing that gets downhill and to the rim while mixing in turnaround mid-range jumpers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2767906' first='Ronald' last='Johnson'] (Mt. Carmel)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson is the top PG prospect in the 2029 class.&nbsp; Strong bodied stat sheet stuffing guard that contributes across the board.&nbsp; He is powerful getting to the rack on straight line takes converting through defenders in the lane.&nbsp; Crisp handles which set up his mid-range game along with creative layup package.&nbsp; Excellent passing feel as a lead guard, he rebounds extremely well, and is an impact defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2964028' first='Elon' last='Henderson'] (Leo)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Strong showing for Henderson who was more assertive than we had seen him in the past.&nbsp; Was putting it on the deck from the mid and high post for dunks.&nbsp; Did have a put back and hit a three.&nbsp; The long term potential as a big man with versatility is intriguing.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2921082' first='Titus' last='Payton'] (Andrew)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Payton is trending as one of the better 2029 posts in the class.&nbsp; Power forward with a nice frame and quality size.&nbsp; Good athlete that can finish out of the dunker spot, get on the offensive glass, and showed a clean shooting stroke hitting a three shot faking for a side step three.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2886496' first='TJ' last='Jamison'] (Whitney Young)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jamison is a jumbo combo guard that has a lot of long term projectability.&nbsp; Rebounds very well for a guard, pushes in transition, and is a solid shooter.&nbsp; You are buying the size and positional versatility here!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3472215' first='Zahari' last='Threatt'] (De La Salle)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Threat is among the more intriguing upside plays in the 2029 post class.&nbsp; The size, length, and athleticism jump off the table.&nbsp; Finishes out of the dunker spot with explosiveness.&nbsp; Spin moves, rim runs, and brings interesting defensive tools.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2441810' first='Teddy' last='Dana'] (St. Ignatius)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Liked what we saw from Dana at RB.&nbsp; Strong bodied wing that showcased versatility on both ends of the floor.&nbsp; Tough kid that can play inside and out.&nbsp; Going to be a ice glue piece for Iggy this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2394774' first='Corey' last='Griffin'] (Fenwick)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Griffin is a 6'1” combo guard who is a plus shooter off the catch.&nbsp; Crisp prospect with the ball in his hands off the dribble getting in the mid-range for pull ups.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
