Kentucky's 2029 class runs deep but is true depth is yet to be determined. These five prospects, however, are ahead of the pack when it comes to catching the attention of college progams:

In several other Kentucky classes, Ty would arguably be the clearcut #1 ranked prospect. It just so happens that a five-star 2029 recruit calls Louisville home. Nonetheless, Ty has comfortably dominated 8th region competition for the past two seasons despite being the youngest athlete on the court more often than not. With a pair of varsity basketball seasons now under his belt, Ty could be ready to make an even bigger jump in his development. He picked up his first offer from Eastern Kentucky University last week.

Tre has wreaked havoc on Louisville talent since he was a child, but the rest of the state is starting to accept just how dominant he can be. He earned the keys to Eastern's offense last season and accepted them like a veteran while often being tasked with guarding the opposing team's best player as well. San Jose State, UT Rio Grande, and most recently Louisiana State spearhead the collegiate programs that have extended offers to the ambidextrous PG so far.

As far as production goes for the 2029 class, CJ had to be near the top of the leaderboard last season when it came to usage rate. Looking ahead to his sophomore year, he'll likely be the only returning starter for the Mustangs which means his load could be even heavier. If there's anything I know of his game, however, the crafty southpaw playmaker is up for the challenge. Eastern Kentucky and UT Arlington are the first two collegiate programs to extend offers so far.

After recently being named the MVP of Seneca's Summer Shootout, an event that featured several D1 prospects, it's safe to say that Butta is having a great offseason. He'll likely be tasked with steering the ship for the RedHawks next season as his did during his freshman campaign. He's having a solid all-around 3SSB campaign thus far with his undefeated Wildcat Select squad and could attract more college attention before his sophomore year begins. For now, Cal State Northridge and Eastern Kentucky have extended offers.

Speaking of five-star recruits that call Louisville home, Mason's collegiate recruitment represents only a fraction of the doors that have opened for him so far. Regardless, it's hard to ignore the number of high major programs that have taken interest in the versatile big man. Louisville, Indiana, Villanova, and Ohio State headline the Power 4 institutions that have extended offers but those are just the tip of the developing iceberg. Mason has reported 11 offers in total and counting.

Kentucky's 2029 class runs deep but is true depth is yet to be determined. These five prospects, however, are ahead of the pack when it comes to catching the attention of college progams:
