Ty has a high skill level already and is only going to keep getting better as he gets older. Capable of operating as a playmaker with the ball in his hands, Bryant is a mismatch for most opponents because he can play any position on the court. Also a good shot blocker, Ty is a high ceiling, low floor prospect.

Bryant is one of the best prospects in a very good 2029 class. He offers size and athleticism at the wing spots and is an above average passer already. Ty’s biggest limitations will be based on how well he can guard laterally against smaller players but he has time to continue improving in that department. Don’t be surprised if Bryant takes a young Oldham roster on a deep run.

Ty was the best player at our Freshman camp this fall and has established himself as a big name in the class already. Bryant has great positional size as a playmaking wing. He is a good defender and actually a good shot blocker at his size. Best described as a high floor prospect, I think Ty is going to project very well as a college basketball player eventually but he’s also a flamethrower on the mound in baseball. As a basketball prospect, Ty’s passing really stood out to me. And I’m interested to see him shoot the perimeter jumper more.

Ty was arguable the biggest stand out at the event. He is 6’5 and continues to grow but has the skillset of an elite guard. I was impressed with how shifty and tight his handle was for his length. Ty scored at all 3 levels and there really was no one at the camp that was stopping any option. He had multiple trips where he tore the rim off the backboard. Ty showed that he is one of the top freshman in the state. He already had a large role for Oldham last year, and I anticipate that to continue.

From the start of the 3 on 3 games until the end of the 5 on 5 contests, Bryant was the best player on the court. With great positional size and the ability to knock down shots or finish high above the rim, Ty checks a lot of boxes as a prospect at this young age. He even made some high level passes in the open court. When 2029 rankings drop, Ty is a lock for top 5 and could be pushing for the top spot.

Bryant was the second leading scorer for Oldham County as an 8th grader and is a name that I have heard for a couple of years now. Ty is a bouncy athlete with a bright future and is likely to be in the mix for camp MVP honors.

Bryant led Oldham County in scoring last season and has recently started taking off and dunking on people. Ty looks like a big time prospect, long term.
