One of the top defenders I saw, Mingus made a lot of plays by jumping passing lanes, getting deflections and applying on-ball pressure to opposing guards. Mingus also was physical as a slasher and went into the defense on drives, going through the body of opposing players at times with his determination. The toughness Mingus showed on Saturday certainly stood out and should help him with Oldham County this winter.
