One of the most effective scorers in this class right now. Withrow is capable of scoring 20+ in any game and is a very efficient scorer. Matt is at his best when attacking and getting downhill. An excellent finisher, Withrow is strong and capable of bullying opposing defenders and getting to the rim. When it comes to “getting stuff done”, there are not 10 better players in the class, right now.

gets a lot of headlines but Withrow is extremely effective in his own right. Matt is a strong guard who is capable of exploding for the Colonels on any given night. Averaging 15 points and 7 rebounds per game this season, Withrow is a highly effective driver and finisher who I would categorize as a “bully guard”. Matt hasn’t shot the ball great thus far in the season but can also be a knockdown shooter.

One of the stronger guards in this class at this point, Withrow is a very talented guard who excels at getting to the rim but he is capable of heating up from the perimeter too. Matt exploded for 30+ points in multiple AAU games this spring and summer and is in line for a very big role at Oldham County this season and could be, along with teammate

Matt was one of the most athletic guards at our Showcase. He is very strong for his size. He did a lot of his scoring from the offensive glass and it was tough for others to keep him off of it. He is also a capable shooter knocking down multiple in his 2nd game. Matt can impact the floor on both ends for Oldham.

Withrow is a strong guard who can bully defenders on his way to the bucket. What I didn’t expect was when, late in camp, the 6’1″ guard rose up and nearly dunked all over a bigger defender. Had he gotten the dunk down, it would have been the most impressive play of the day.
