2027 Rankings Update: Numbers 1-5

With the return of multiple top kids, this class has seen a lot of upheaval in this update. Ferlandes has always had a super high ceiling and could end up having a long pro career if he has his motor running at all times. I have always been impressed with Ja'Rye's elite scoring ability and I think he has the potential to be an All Conference type of guard in college with his big time first step and decision making when he's in the paint. With his ability to score or create for others, Matthew has the potential to drive opposing defenses crazy. Langhi keeps growing and may no be done yet. With his perimeter skills continuing to improve, Jack has the ability to knock down threes at a high clip and has the strong frame to get to the rim and finish through contact. Montez has a big month of AAU coming up and will need to prove he should be mentioned with the top of the class.
