We caught a ton of hoops over the second half of the high school season and this spring on the Prep Hoops Circuit! Time to see which prospects moved up the board in 2027 Wing Stock Risers!

[player_tooltip player_id='2323617' first='Markese' last='Peoples'] (St. Laurence)

Peoples had a strong close to the season with a good second half. Looking to take that momentum into June. Peoples has such a unique and productive game. Doesn't have the traditional “prospect” look as he is a thick bodied and undersized wing, but he makes things happen with his relentless motor and skilled offensive game. Quality handles and passing. Rebounds great for a wing and defends. Reminds me of Roosevelt Jones in high school.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125671' first='Nojus' last='Venckus'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2125668' first='Nedas' last='Venckus'] (Lockport)

The Venckus twins made a massive jump up the board to inside the top 30 overall. The have been absolutely lethal all spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] Gold. Plus shooters off movement or creating on their own. Score off cuts, get open consistently, and are high level passers both on and off the ball. Quality athletes that play so well off each other!

[player_tooltip player_id='2532341' first='Keyae' last='Lacy'] (Simeon)

Lacy was a beast this past spring with Geek Squad. The Simeon athletic shooting guard has some absolutely lethal games where he scored it at will. Pull up mid-range game along with draining threes in bunches. Wiry athlete that is explosive to the rim for scores at the cup.

[player_tooltip player_id='2415542' first='Nathan' last='Woods'] (Bolingbrook)

The new Bolingbrook standout will bring his squad big time perimeter shot making. Among the better pure catch and shoot guys in the rising senior class. That along with his positional size make him intriguing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2389398' first='Orlando' last='Edwards'] (West Aurora)

Edwards showed a ton of athleticism and skill as a guard this spring for 88 West. Long and wiry 6'3” guard who proved he can play both on and off the ball effectively. Always in attack mode getting downhill being slithery through holes and getting to the cup. Athleticism plays in the open floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2822200' first='Lane' last='Eilerman'] (Calhoun)

The Southern Illinois Raptors made a big jump after his play at Show Me Showdown. Stronger and taller than our last time seeing him with plus athleticism. Gets to the rack off the dribble where he finished very well. Excellent transition player with burst. Showcases some passing flair.

[player_tooltip player_id='2382372' first='Ace' last='Spinner'] (Central A&M)

Spinner has had a really nice spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2836391' first='Illinois' last='Warriors Elite']. Plus shooter with a strong frame. His biggest strength is as a spot up and movement shooter as he has a quick release and knocks them in at a high percentage. Competitive and tough kid!

[player_tooltip player_id='2384011' first='Bennett' last='Becker'] (Breese Central)

Becker flew up the board with a strong spring in multiple evals on the PHC and Southern Illinois Spring Showcase. The 6'4” small forward brings a strong frame being able to play bully ball downhill while also proving he can really shoot it from three with a sweet lefty shot. Solid passer and fits in a team system tremendously well at the small college level.
