Spinner was a familiar name coming into the event, and he continued to prove why. The point guard from Central A&M stood out as the most physical defender on his team. His quickness allowed him to tightly guard the ball, making him a dominant presence on defense. Spinner plays the passing lanes with awareness, often getting a good jump on passes. He’s also effective in the help position, maintaining a sharp focus on his matchup with his head constantly on a swivel. On offense, Spinner drove to the rim with purpose, either muscling in tough shots or making smart passes to his teammates.
