We had a ton of coverage over the weekend on PHI and social media from Prep Hoops Live! Now it is time to examine what we saw and the prospects that made the biggest impression. Here is Prep Hoops Live: Scotty B's 2027 Illinois Needle Movers!

[player_tooltip player_id='2125668' first='Nedas' last='Venckus'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] Gold)

The Lockport 6'3” shooting guard put together a massive weekend in the three games we caught of his. What impresses about him and his twin brother is how consistent they are game in and game out. You know what you are getting, but he took it up another notch over the weekend. Was lethal with his three point shooting off the catch along with pulling up. Quick and concise release with deep range. Within their system he works so well cutting to the basket for dunks along with throwing the passes. Can play on or off the ball because of how well he dishes the rock. Good athlete that wins on straight line takes with his handles and bursts getting in the paint for scores. Solid defender that will cut a passing lane for a slam on the other end and block a shot recovering.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125671' first='Nojus' last='Venckus'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] Gold)

Nojus also had a very nice weekend. The 6'3” guard consistently was finishing at the rim on cuts off the ball for dunks. He has mastered that craft of his game. Can also deck it and score in transition. Plus shooter from the perimeter with a lightning quick release pouring in threes. Secondary playmaker that understands where his teammates are within the system.

[player_tooltip player_id='2389793' first='Dovydas' last='Zuperka'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] Gold)

The two games we saw Zuperka play were the breakout performances we have been waiting to see from the 6'8” power forward! He came out impacting on both ends of the floor and scored inside/out. His quickness to the glass was the first aspect that caught our attention. There was an assertiveness to it high pointing them in traffic. The wiry thin big man with long arms snatched them above opponents. Offensively he showcased skill around the hoop with hook shots, touch, and explosion on a few dunks including one where he got hurt and was held out the rest of the weekend after landing wrong. Plus shooter as a big man that poured them in one after another from beyond the arc off the catch and in pick/pop situations. Ran the floor hard in transition for buckets. Defensively he protected the rim at a high level covering ground with his length.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125588' first='Bennett' last='Kammes'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] Gold)

The Glenbard West 2027 6'2” combo guard is about to make a massive debut in our next update. Strong and skilled guard that is a lights out perimeter shot maker. In the top handful of perimeter marksmen in the class. Does it off movement shooting along with pulling up. Every time it comes off his hands you swear it is going in the hoop. Elite release and form. Has the ability to play both on and off the ball. Quality passer and feel in the half court.

[player_tooltip player_id='3575083' first='Enoch' last='Olukolade'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] Gold)

Oak Forest 6'5” power forward is a strong and physical post that has ELITE athleticism. Skill is still a work in progress, but as an undersized uber athletic five he is intriguing. Rebounds well snatching them in traffic. On the offensive end he is best as a roller for lob dunks or finishing with explosive two handed slams out of the dunker spot. Plus shot blocker with quickness off the ground. Has times where he isn't as active, but when engaged he is a real weapon!

[player_tooltip player_id='2827004' first='Luke' last='Vongluekiat'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] Gold)

Fenwick 6'1” point guard has put his name on the map this spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last='']. Gritty glue guy who has a solid skill level knocking in open threes, making sound passes, and can attack a close out. Gets after it defensively with his ball pressure.

[player_tooltip player_id='3572122' first='Sawyer' last='Asgedom'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] Gold)

York 2027 guard is a lefty spot up shooter that made four of them on Friday night and continued to showcase solid shooting throughout the event. The southpaw can really knock down shots at a high level. Connective passer and capable defender at the point.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532341' first='Keyae' last='Lacy'] (Geek Squad)

Lacy was outstanding on Friday night as the Simeon combo guard absolutely took over the game! Rangy guard with length and positional size playing on or off the ball. Early on he was getting to the rack at will with his smooth handles and burst to the rim. Mid-range pull up game was on point along with being able to shoot it from three. Came out aggressive and stayed that way all game putting his team on his back scoring 30+ leading his team to a 1 point victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632058' first='Karon' last='Shavers'] (Geek Squad)

Leo guard is rock solid with his strong frame as a backcourt player that can knock in shots from two and three. Solid defender and rebounds well for a guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2390391' first='Khevel' last='Diambuana'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] National)

Under the radar wing prospect from Romeoville who has intriguing physical tools to work with. Strong and athletic wing that is impactful crashing the glass grabbing offensive rebounds for second chance points with his quickness and second jump. Flashes as a straight line driver and shot blocker.

[player_tooltip player_id='2856365' first='Quinn' last='Gorges'] (Man Up Fox Valley)

The Jacobs big man has slimmed down tremendously since we last saw him in person. It has improved his mobility and the skill remains there. Shot it well from three, smooth turnarounds, and was money in the mid-range with his shot. Also blocked several shots in the game we saw including a jumper. Like him a lot as a developmental small college big man!

[player_tooltip player_id='2382372' first='Ace' last='Spinner'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2836391' first='Illinois' last='Warriors Elite'])

Spinner is one of the more underappreciated small college gems out of Central Illinois. Thick bodied two guard that can flat out knock down shots especially from the corners. Quick release and is a sneaky athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='2382373' first='Danterion' last='Knight'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2836391' first='Illinois' last='Warriors Elite'])

Knight put his second consecutive strong weekend together. MacArthur point guard is slick with the ball in his hands getting to the rim. Speed is the name of his game and he does it effectively finishing with body control at the cup.

[player_tooltip player_id='3631983' first='Brayden' last='Graddy'] (Royalty Elite)

Skilled wing who has feathery touch on his pull up jump shot from two nd three. One of his more impressive plays was when he stuffed a jumper, handled it coast to coast, then finished at the rim. Can deck it in the half court off the dribble scoring with nimble footwork.

[player_tooltip player_id='2403274' first='Timothy' last='Sirotyuk'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2828653' first='Greater' last='Purpose Athletics'])

Could not have been more impressed with this breakout Stevenson 6'7” center in the 2027 class. We caught the second half of one of his Sunday games and he completely took over with his size, strength, and broad shoulders. Rebounded tremendously well on both ends. Ran the floor for his size. He keeps the ball high in the paint and seals off defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467723' first='Mohammad' last='Farhan'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'])

Farhan is a broad shouldered and skilled four man that is consistently productive. The Stagg post is a good athlete that plays above the rim with lob dunks, snatching rebounds, and rim runs. He is a solid defender along with being a skilled passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2829810' first='Miles' last='Burnison'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'])

York post had quite a game on Sunday as he has added strength to his frame which allows him to play with more physicality around the hoop. Quick takes on the baseline and finished out of the dunker spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2830240' first='Daniel' last='Morakinyo'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'])

Morakinyo is a well-built combo guard from Sandburg who is a good athlete that can go and get you a bucket. The growth in his three point shot over the last several months has been noticeable in his development.
