Who were the ten best players on Friday night from court one? We run you through those names NOW!

[player_tooltip player_id='2527108' first='Jaxson' last='Austin'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Hondl (Albany). Austin's ability to stay comfortable and score with defenders in good position really does amaze me at times. A small window scorer and a player that can touch in shots from all distances. Tonight Austin had 21 points on eight of twelve shooting including four threes made. I think Austin is the type of player that is really going to flourish with some added strength meaning if you get him to your college, you will really have something to work with. And before we get there, this is the top scorer from a final four team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2676981' first='Grady' last='Buchert'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Haider (Sauk Rapids-Rice). Buchert first caught my eyes fighting to defensive position and doing a good job keeping a hand and a frame in front of starting Buffalo guards. Grady next made an impact knocking out three after three on his way to five threes made and a 15 point game. A three and D type of player that was the best player on his team tonight.

[player_tooltip player_id='2128248' first='Rock' last='Holubar'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Hondl (Pequot Lakes). When your name is Rock you have to be tough and the 6'5 forward is just that. But more than tough, I would call Rock relentless and versatile. He had a 17 point, 10 rebound double-double which is an impressive thing to do in the paint, but I think I was more impressed with his defense and smart ball movement (four assists).

[player_tooltip player_id='2025921' first='Lucas' last='Hondl'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Hondl (Albany). At 6'5 Lucas is going to get a good look at a perimeter jump shot off of ball movement sometimes even when the defense is in a decent position. The Titans Johnson team defended hard and had some wing size but Hondl knocked out five triples on his way to a 19 point game in a 79-64 win over the Titans. Hondl and Austin are going to be one of the best scoring duos in AA hoops next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2823872' first='Dalton' last='Iverson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] Johnson (Champlin Park). At 6'6 and active, Iverson had some success against a very good Comets Hondl frontcourt. Dalton scored a dozen points on six of nine shooting against that Pequot Lakes (and others) Frontline. With Walter, Dukuly and Howe also coming back with Iversen the Rebels look like an even stronger team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2397563' first='Thomas' last='Jordan'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy'] (Buffalo). When Thomas is feeling comfortable and confident the other team is in danger, and Buffalo had Comets Haider in danger quickly on their way to a 58-41 win. The night started with Jordan maneuvering around the paint to get to balance and get an angle for a post score. And Thomas moved around the floor cutting off ball to score, and then he started hitting triples. It was a 20 point game on 9 of 14 shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126466' first='Kobby' last='Sambrew'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Goring (Prior Lake). The highest effort player I saw tonight was [player_tooltip player_id='2126466' first='Kobby' last='Sambrew']. He did his part in defending [player_tooltip player_id='2404942' first='King' last='James'] and limiting him to eight points, Sambrew grabbed nine rebounds, and he relentlessly went at the Minneapolis Central team for his six buckets and 16 points. Sambrew looks better and better every day and the effort is a big reason why.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126465' first='Tommy' last='Schabert'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Goring (Farmington). Welcome back to the court Tommy! After about 9-10 months of sitting out to injury, the strongest player in Minnesota high school basketball scored on five of eight shots for ten paint points and grabbed five rebounds. Tommy is so big that guys just bounced off of him and he simply moves where he wants. He looks to be about 250 pounds of immovable muscle.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417301' first='Hunter' last='Vinkemeier'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Goring (Le Sueur-Henderson). Minneapolis Central tried to score in the paint but Hunter blocked three shots and contested several others. Central tried to get some second chance baskets but Hunter pulled the ball off the rim so quickly with his 11 rebounds that it limited Central to one shot. Hunter scored his 13 points including a three and dished out three assists. At 6'10 Hunter is a unique and rare talent that I think D1 schools need to look at (especially the local Summit teams).

[player_tooltip player_id='2831053' first='Reiker' last='Wignes'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy'] (Buffalo). A reason the Buffalo program has success is because they develop players, they have guys that work hard within their role, and they win. Tonight when Buffalo beat Comets Haider, Wignes was all over the court defending, rebounding, scoring in the paint, and in constant motion both ways. He had 12 points and six boards in the win.
