It is finally time for the first live period weekend of the AAU season and we at Prep Hoops Indiana are more than excited to see what our in-state prospects do. There are multiple places that will be hosting big time AAU events in which there are expected to be multiple colleges coaches in attendance across all host sites. The live period starts on Friday but before we get there, let us look at my first five players to watch for this weekend.

While [player_tooltip player_id='2267048' first='Harper' last='Baker-Lands'] enters into this first live period weekend of the AAU season with already a lot stock, he has a chance to raise his stock even higher. Baker-Lands has had a strong spring thus far with reigning Peach Jam Champs [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] and is expected to continue to be one of the best impact players. He is one of the more dynamic guards in the state with just an excellent feel on both ends of the floor. He has offers from schools such as Tulane, Kent State, Southern Indiana, Miami (OH), Ball State, and many others.

A player that has all of the makings to make one of the bigger jumps after this live period weekend is [player_tooltip player_id='3068383' first='Devin' last='Bolden'] of Cardinal Ritter High School. This spring, Bolden has been running with Progeny 17U and will have a chance to be real dominant for them on UAA circuit this weekend in Ohio at Spooky Nook. Bolden is a 6'7 post presence with consistent finishing and rebounding ability. He holds public D1 offers from both Eastern Kentucky and Toledo.

Perhaps the player that has the strongest chance to really breakout this weekend is 2028 power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2539953' first='Jarrett' last='Harris'] of Indianapolis Lutheran. Harris will be once again running with Progeny 16U and you can watch him on the UAA Circuit this weekend. When it comes to the physical tools, Harris has all of that and then some. He is a constant lob threat with growing skills along with his elite athleticism. He will grab some people's attention this weekend.

A player with some of the most upside in the Indiana class of 2028 is [player_tooltip player_id='2538870' first='Don' last='Bowling III'] of Anderson High School. He has had a strong spring season with [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] 16u P32, arguably being their best player at times. Bowing is a long, lanky wing that produces at a high level with his ability to score at multiple levels. This could be the weekend that D1 programs start to take more of notice in his game.

The Indiana class of 2029 is starting to show that there is a lot of high upside talent and one of those guys is [player_tooltip player_id='3033224' first='Jayden' last='Kennedy'] of Cathedral High School. He is a part of the Progeny 15U team that will be competing on the UAA circuit this weekend. Kennedy is a 5'11 guard that is an explosive, playmaking guard that knows how score and create around him. This could be a huge weekend for him as far as getting some notice early in his AAU career.
