Every gym had someone making winning plays, showing confidence and demanding attention. If you missed the action, you missed a wave of prospects who made their names even bigger.    Ethan Hovey brought nonstop energy all weekend and made winning plays every time he hit the floor. He stayed active on both ends, constantly moving, battling for position and finding ways to impact the game. His hustle stood out right away, chasing loose balls, crashing the glass and never taking a play off. Around the basket Hovey was productive and tough, scoring down low with strong finishes and smart positioning. He played with a motor that opponents had trouble matching. When a player combines effort, toughness and the ability to score inside like that, he becomes a valuable piece every time out     James was a matchup problem all weekend thanks to his size, length and versatile skill set. He has the frame to compete inside, but what really stood out was his ability to step out and knock down shots as a legit shooter. The moment he had space, he was ready to let it fly, and his confidence from deep kept defenses stretched thin. What made him even tougher to guard was his sharp pump fake, using it to send defenders flying before attacking the lane for clean looks at the rim. He never stayed still, constantly moving without the ball, relocating and making himself available for scoring chances.
