PH Windy City War: 2027 Stock Rising Wings

I had the chance to evaluate guys from the classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029 in Romeoville through the 3 day event. Hit 4 total at a high clip with a smooth stroke helping team get to 1-0 on the weekend. Fits on team as a front court guy but would be projected as a small forward shooting wing at the next level. Also hit a 15-foot fadeaway off the bounce from just above free throw line in rhythm. Runs the floor well and fills lanes accordingly. A combo guard at a 2 or 3 for the next level, he has a physical edge with solid verticality around the rim. I tallied him for at least 3 blocks while continuously challenging plays at the cup. In first afternoon game Saturday he hit multiple spot up 3's in rhthm with good rise on jumper. Offensively spaces floor on drives. Had a baseline scoop in traffic and another finishing full speed on a breakaway. Provided volume activity in team's full court press which led to turnovers and fast break points. Utilized length in the passing lanes to make deflections and on the ball provided consistent pressure. Had a coast to coast lay in off a defensive rebound and another offensive rebound put back. Fits into the definition of a shooting guard filling a wing spot role at the next level. Quickly slashed through lane for soft touch finishes or converted on the break at a quick rate. Grabbed a tough offensive rebound and then put it back up for a bucket.
