I was at Boomtown Fieldhouse this weekend, and I wanted to get my eyes on some under-the-radar prospects who could turn heads moving forward, and I feel as though these prospects delivered just that. These are the prospects who made the most of their opportunity and showed they're names to track moving forward.

Kuhn is a player who we've seen play once before, but that was only at a freshman showcase, and we know how players participate in these. This was in a game where you got to see the whole picture and how he's used, and what stands out for me is how many of the small things he does to cover holes for others. His IQ and awareness stand out to me as he moves well defensively. He was playing great on-ball defense as well as stepping over in help side to turn guys over. Kuhn got going offensively this weekend as well, as he was hitting the 3-ball, generating open looks, and also going to the floater. He's a creative scorer who makes solid plays for himself and others and is a player that I do think it will click with just based on his understanding of the game.

When you see the roster for that Colorado Magic team, other names jump off the board, so when watching them, that's who you expect to make those big plays. Well, I came away impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='2957611' first='Luke' last='Jones'] as he's a player who stars in his role and is willing to do it all for his team. He's slashing, defending both the guards and the bigs, and actually took out one of the top bigs on the weekend, entirely out of the game. He ran the baseline offensively, grabbed boards out of his area, and went right up with boards he got in the paint and also hit some timely 3-pointers at crucial parts of the game. There's more to his game than just scoring, and I think that will translate. He's a player to keep on the radar.

Norris is not a player I was too familiar with heading into the weekend, but with how he played, his game was undeniable. He's a big-time scorer that [program_tooltip program_id='2836105' first='Pluto' last='Prospects'] put the ball in his hands and let him operate. He had a game where he exploded for 40+ points, he was the team's go-to scorer in every game, he looked unstoppable at times, and he's looking to attack. Norris also rebounds well and can start the break and go for coast-to-coast finishes, and we saw plenty of that. The game slows down for him, and you can tell that he has played real varsity minutes as he gets to his spots. He was hitting the 3-ball, scoring with ease in isolation, and finishing with either hand inside. Where I feel the game translates best is with his passing/playmaking, and also just getting a ton of steals from being at the right spot. He picked up 5+ steals in every game on the weekend and is a player who certainly will be jumping in our next rankings update. He's a solid prospect.

Jackson is a prospect for [program_tooltip program_id='2100026' first='7070' last='Athletics'] who we did not know about heading into the event, but he made a ton of plays that let you know that he's a player who can progress and turn into a special player. He has a solid ball handler, where he was freeing himself up with a set-up dribble and getting all the way to the basket. He was attacking downhill, grabbing rebounds out of his area, and just doing everything that the team needed. He had a couple of passes to teammates for easy baskets, which showed an understanding of playmaking, and he was good at manipulating the defense. He's a player who we certainly want to see more of, and he turned heads for us this weekend.

Watched the game against [program_tooltip program_id='2859258' first='Olympic' last='City Elite'], and he stood out for me due to his action and ability to keep playing hard and moving. He's a guard who is telling people where to go, covering up other people's defensive lapses, and scoring in transition. His activity helped him get his hands on the ball defensively, and he had a couple of deflections. He also took care of the ball despite [program_tooltip program_id='2859258' first='Olympic' last='City Elite'] pressing them and applying full-court pressure. Carino is a player I did not know too much about before the event, but he got my attention. He's a player I will want to put on the watch list to watch more as a standout.
