A really skilled and strong scorer who excels at getting to his spots, Akins has some James Harden to his game. He's a heavy left handed driver who averaged 15 points per game this past season for the state champions. A 37% shooter from three, Ryder is also a reliable shooter. He's one of the best isolation scorers in the class.

Speaking of great shooters, Marshall may be the best in the state. While facing all sorts of defensive coverage, Caleb hit 41% from three while making over 4 per game. Most nights, Marshall was facing the team's best defender but he still managed to score 21 points per game. He needs to continue improving as a defender and as a play maker but Caleb has the chance to be the best player in Lexington next season.

A strong driver who continues improving as an all around player, Tyson has made a lot of strides over the past few seasons. Duke has a really high ceiling and should continue to improve as he is a hard worker, from all indications. Tyson could be a breakout candidate for next high school season.

Ashland is so deep and talented that it is easy to overlook a player like Justin. Probably the most explosive player on that Tomcats roster, Hughes is a good downhill driver and is a capable three point shooter. Perhaps his potential is highest on the defensive end, where Justin can switch across multiple positions and has the physical tools to be a true lock down defender.

Bryce is a long and lanky shooter who does most of his offensive damage from the perimeter. Vernon has a high basketball IQ and knows how to make an impact without the ball in his hands at all times. The next step for Vernon will be to continue improving as a movement shooter and less of a catch and shoot guy. He's a player to keep an eye on as he could find himself getting real D1 interest soon.
