2028 Rankings: Top Shooting Guards

As they move to being upperclassmen, the rankings are starting to shuffle and there are some players who have come from out of nowhere to climb near the top. Here's a look at the top shooting guards in the 2028 rankings. He's a heavy left handed driver who averaged 15 points per game this past season for the state champions. A 37% shooter from three, Ryder is also a reliable shooter. While facing all sorts of defensive coverage, Caleb hit 41% from three while making over 4 per game. Most nights, Marshall was facing the team's best defender but he still managed to score 21 points per game. Duke has a really high ceiling and should continue to improve as he is a hard worker, from all indications. Probably the most explosive player on that Tomcats roster, Hughes is a good downhill driver and is a capable three point shooter. Vernon has a high basketball IQ and knows how to make an impact without the ball in his hands at all times. The next step for Vernon will be to continue improving as a movement shooter and less of a catch and shoot guy.
