Our 2027 rankings were updated last week and this rising Senior class has a ton of talent in it, from top to bottom. Here's a look at some of the better "sleeper" prospects in the class.

Acton had been the man for Owensboro for 2 years before transferring to Daviess County last summer. After taking a secondary role this year, expect Acton to be the man for the Panthers in his Senior year. A big time scorer, Michael is primed for a big year and could have an equally as big AAU season this spring and summer.

Daviess County's biggest rival has benefited from an international transfer who arrived last summer. Cruz is a big guard who can live in the paint on the offensive end. He struggled from the perimeter this season but averaged 12 points and 6 rebounds per game for the 3rd region Semifinalists. A good athlete who can guard multiple positions, look for Carlos to potentially be a breakout player this summer.

Johnson doesn't get many headlines but he was the heart and soul of the state championship GRC team. JaMylyn averaged 10 points and 4 rebounds per game while applying relentless pressure on the defensive end. Johnson was actually the best shooter on the GRC roster when he was hitting 39% from three over the course of the season. He already has an offer from Tennessee Wesleyan and should see more this AAU season.

Johnny was limited to 13 games after transferring to J-Town from Eastern. Statistically, nothing he did this season was impressive but look for McFarland to be a breakout star next season. Johnny may be the best athlete in the 2027 class if you're looking for a run and jump athlete. He can make a difference on the boards and seems like the kid who goes to Juco as a sleeper and ends up as a really good college player after a year or two at that level.

If you're looking for a player who plays with all out effort, all the time, [player_tooltip player_id='2121733' first='Brody' last='Little'] is your guy. Brody is capable of playing on or off the ball and can score or facilitate. He's comfortable playing on the ball on defense, too. Little is smart with a high basketball IQ and is able to switch and guard multiple positions. Brody is a top player for a good Belfry squad and is off to a good start in AAU with [program_tooltip program_id='2335148' first='Kentuckiana' last='Hoops'].
