17U Stock Risers at Kansas City Clash

His strong play at the rim and ability to survey the defense off the dribble helped him provide both timely scoring and assists to teammates. Hooks was also able to get going from deep and complimented his driving ability with step back mid-range shots and spot up corner 3-pointers. When TJ has his outside shot working, he is nearly unstoppable because of his mentality and ability to take what the defense gives him. However, he continues to show his versatility on the perimeter as well. Mcmahan showed that he can handle the ball well and play under control when on the attack. The junior was highly effective in pick and roll situations and as an offensive rebounder as well. Look for Noah to continue to grow offensively by being put in different situations over the next few months for his team. He seemingly could not miss when stepping back to his left off the bounce. The junior paired well with [player_tooltip player_id='2140727' first='Brody' last='Scott'] and was able to knock down 54% of his long range shots in Kansas City. Gillispie is always shot-ready and showcased his deep range, hitting multiple 3-pointers from far beyond the line. Tra is always under control and makes good reads with the ball in his hands. His ability to find teammates in open spaces while not getting sped up or out of control really stood out. The Mount Saint Mary guard provides floor spacing for Southern Assault Texoma and provides instant offense that compares well with teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2140785' first='Porter' last='Gillispie']. Southern Assault has a good mix of guards that all have different strengths.
