A long time gunner from the 405, Hamilton has been torching the nets so far this spring for Texhoma. In the game watched back on stream, it wasn’t his best shooting performance. Still it was a sign of the steady all around growth he’s made over recent months. An off the ball specialist, he popped up in the mid-range and was a target on in bounds plays. Great shooting touch from all over the court.
Similar to Mount Saint Mary’s semifinals run in 4A, Hamilton is more bought in and playing to his size as a defender. The added grit on the defensive end should help him be a plug and play three point specialist at the next level.

Hamilton continued to show why he is one of the best shooters in the state of Oklahoma. The Mount Saint Mary guard provides floor spacing for Southern Assault Texoma and provides instant offense that compares well with teammate

. Southern Assault has a good mix of guards that all have different strengths. Look for his shooting to continue to help elevate this team with both Hooks and Scott putting pressure on the defense and navigating pick-and-roll situations.

The Rockets scored 28 points in the first quarter. Capped by a three from Hamilton. He has one of the purest shots in the state, and when he’s on he’s a game changer. In this case the game was already well in Mount Saint Mary’s favor and he was the capper. Three after three. He connected five times from deep, for a game high 17 points.

A pure sniper, with the most microwavable ability on this list. When he’s got it going from three, the rim might as well be on fire. Has a pure and repeatable shooting form, that makes it look like every shot is going on. At times in past viewings, his shot selection can be questionable. As he does love a heat check, especially from deep. Now as an upperclassman with a sneaky talented Rocket squad around him, look for his shot efficiency to increase. As his ability to gun it from deep will play a big part in another posssible State Tournament appearance for MSM. This time with a longer stay.

Best shooter in the gym for the 2027 age group, and frankly all night. Based on how Hamilton let er rip, he likely hasn’t met a look from three he doesn’t like. For good reason too, as he made it rain from all the court. Off the dribble pull ups in transition and was deadly from spot up shots. Especially the way he raced to them in transition. Fantastic shooting touch, who makes open corner threes look like layups. His teammates knew this and the repeatedly fed him. Creating a microwave type scoring effect, as he can hit shots in bunches.

Hamilton was impressive this past spring and summer as a sharpshooting flamethrower. That aspect to his game is still there, while also having improved as an overall attacker. Complete with some good finds as a passer, and playing with more confidence and strength as a finisher. Appears to be on his way to turn into a complete threat as a guard, while continuing to be a weapon form deep.

Playing up against 16U level competition is bringing valuable reps to the 405 sharpshooter. Hamilton has DEEP range from three, excelling in a spot up, floor spacing role. But the youngster in a recent viewing showed a bit more to his game, including a good baseline take after being ran off the line. While also having a willingness to get on the floor for a loose ball. With the way Hamilton shoots the ball from distance, he’ll require further monitoring this summer and next winter.
