Evergreen was a team that turned some heads this year with their play and was an entertaining bunch. Their leading scorer for the year was 6'5 wing, [player_tooltip player_id='3571946' first='Xavier' last='Spungin']. Xavier has excellent size; he's a multi-sport athlete who uses that athleticism to the best of his ability, and that translated to a successful season. Spungin averaged 16.5 points and 9.3 rebounds, which shows his ability to dominate, but he also put up 3.4 assists a game, which shows a complete game. He's a player who was not on our radar heading into the season, but is now firmly on the radar and a player we need to get more eyes on. He will make a HUGE jump in the rankings after not being ranked the last go round.

Lynett was one of the surprise standouts in the Continental League as he made a jump from being a JV player to being a focal point of the offense this past year. He was also an aggressive rebounder who attacked the glass, ran the baseline, and finished through traffic. Lynett averaged 8.2 points and 6.5 rebounds a game, had a couple of double-doubles, especially late into the season, and had his best game of the year when it mattered the most in a playoff game. He moves well, scores, and defends, and has a balanced game. He's making a debut in the rankings this go round.

Malik was able to play in the 2nd half of the season, and Regis Groff just looked like a more complete team when he was in the mix. Malik gave them another primary ball handler, a guy who could break a defender down off the bounce and either score or dish it off. He's a smooth player with the ability to get it done. He averaged 11.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists a game. He was also able to speed opposing guards up and turn them over, and that is why they averaged one of the most steals per game out of any team in the state. Regis Groff will look for his leadership next year as a combo guard, and this is a big summer he can get his name out there a bit more. He makes a rankings debut this time around.

Alexander was one of my personal favorite players to watch in the state this year because he played with fire, he defended and held his own against some of the top players in the state despite giving up size, and he was the team's Swiss-army-knife. He was a jack of all trades and showed up when it mattered most. He hit the 3-ball consistently, hit mid-range jumpers, and was a hard worker offensively who crashed boards and went right up. The team rallied around him at times as a two-way competitor, and that play gets you noticed. He jumps into the rankings this go-round with plenty to prove this summer, as well as leading into next season.

Wiedeman made a huge jump this season and made the most of his varsity minutes as a walking double-double. He was one of the top rebounders in the conference as he finished with 5 double-doubles on the season. In fact, he had plenty of games where he had more rebounds than he did points to show how important and utilized he was on the glass. This 6'6 paint beast did not shy away from contact, he gave the team toughness and showed his offensive progression over the year. He averaged 10.4 points and 10.4 rebounds a game, 1.3 blocks a game and was a big reason they were the top team in their conference. He is a player we're extremely intrigued by. He makes his rankings debut this go-round.

Finn is going to make his rankings debut this go round, as he was able to show that he belonged this season. The 6'1 guard showcased his athleticism, got out in the open court and made plays happen, and also stepped in and helped as a plug-and-play top of prospect. He played both on and off ball, he was a miscowave scorer, and he was also the team's defensive stopper. He averaged 7.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.8 steals a game. Finn is an intriguing 2-way prospect with high upside that we hope to see this summer as well as in the Fall.
