Expert Analysis
Duvalier Johnson | Prep Hoops Scout
Wiedeman made a huge jump this season and made the most of his varsity minutes as a walking double-double. He was one of the top rebounders in the conference as he finished with 5 double-doubles on the season. In fact, he had plenty of games where he had more rebounds than he did points to show how important and utilized he was on the glass. This 6’6 paint beast did not shy away from contact, he gave the team toughness and showed his offensive progression over the year. He averaged 10.4 points and 10.4 rebounds a game, 1.3 blocks a game and was a big reason they were the top team in their conference. He is a player we’re extremely intrigued by. He makes his rankings debut this go-round.

Cooper Wiedeman Cooper Wiedeman 6'6" | C/PF Eaton | 2027 State CO is an unknown player who came on late into the year, but now that he’s arrived, the team has been better and winning games. The thing is, when he’s on the floor, it gives Eaton an inside presence because he’s able to grab every rebound that comes his way, he keeps plays alive with his effort, and he finishes around the basket. Wiedeman put up a double-double in four games this year as he averaged 10.3 points and 10.1 rebounds a game. He’s a multisport athlete who brings that toughness and instincts into every game on the hardwood, and that is why Eaton can battle how they battle. Solid year for him, where he will be the X-factor in this game.
