In a dominant weekend performance from the Wildcats, Moore stood out as the headline name in the title game. Titus took full advantage of several big runs from the Wildcats, leading the team with 20 points while showcasing his unique combination of size, strength, and skill. He was impressive in the post, displaying quick footwork and an ability to finish consistently through and around contact. He was a handful for Clayton to deal with all afternoon and put a stamp on a huge season with a dominant state championship.

After a huge performance in the state semifinals against Vashon — where he poured in 31 points and led his team to a double-digit win — Chase showed another side of his game on Saturday. While he took some time to get going as a scorer, he did what great players always do — he trusted his teammates. Early on, he made the right reads and consistently got others in positions to score efficiently. He still finished with 15 points, showing he can score with anyone in the state, but it was his feel for the game and his ability to influence it beyond just the scoring column that spoke volumes in the win.

Another player who contributed to the depth and versatility of the Wildcat attack was [player_tooltip player_id='2731391' first='Sutton' last='Shook']. Shook stretched and spaced the floor, doing what he's done all season — knocking down perimeter shots — while Sutton added four three-pointers on his way to 16 points. His scoring helped balance the Wildcats' inside-outside attack, enabling them to dominate different stretches of the state championship game, including a remarkable 20-0 run.

In a game that was seemingly never in doubt, Boyd led De Smet early and often in the championship game against Blue Springs South. He came out aggressive, scoring 14 of his game-high 26 points in the first half as the Spartans built a 16-point lead at halftime. Boyd's ability to attack the paint, finish at the rim, and draw fouls put consistent pressure on the Jaguar defense throughout the game. He also made a strong impact on the glass, pulling down nine rebounds and generating extra scoring chances.

Another guard on De Smet's loaded roster, Thomas was efficient and confident throughout, finishing with 21 points on highly efficient shooting. He used his size and physicality from the perimeter to drive downhill, attack the basket, and draw fouls. Thomas complemented Boyd's early aggression, creating a one-two punch that the Jaguars struggled to contain. De Smet's relentless assault on the rim proved too much for Blue Springs South, allowing the Spartans to open up the game early in the second quarter and cruise to the championship.

While De Smet got a massive contribution inside, scoring 40 points in the paint, it was Butler who provided an outside presence. Braden moved well off drives and found open space on the perimeter, knocking down three deep ones on his way to 11 points. His length also made an impact defensively and on the glass, helping the Spartans control both ends of the floor. This victory marked De Smet's second state championship in the last three years.

MICDS capped off their state tournament run with a title, thanks in large part to the play of Tyler. In a game that was blown open by a huge third-quarter surge, Ray led the Rams offensively, finishing with a game-high 18 points and seven rebounds. His size allowed him to make an impact both from the perimeter and in transition, taking the ball end to end and finishing over defenders at the rim. Tyler fueled the MICDS run, leading an aggressive and relentless attack that gave the Rams the lead for good and allowed them to pull away in the second half.

Clemens, much like Ray, played a critical role for the Rams, especially during MICDS's third-quarter surge. As the Rams turned up their pressure, Clemens was able to push the ball in transition, using his athleticism to finish around the rim and get to the free-throw line. His ability to score efficiently in fast-break situations kept the defense scrambling and on their heels. Brandon finished the night with 15 points, helping lead MICDS to a dominant state championship victory.
