Another guard on De Smet’s loaded roster, Thomas was efficient and confident throughout, finishing with 21 points on highly efficient shooting. He used his size and physicality from the perimeter to drive downhill, attack the basket, and draw fouls. Thomas complemented Boyd’s early aggression, creating a one-two punch that the Jaguars struggled to contain. De Smet’s relentless assault on the rim proved too much for Blue Springs South, allowing the Spartans to open up the game early in the second quarter and cruise to the championship.
