Thompson competed nicely in all events, and it’s more impressive that he did it as a class younger as he is in 2028. The guard from Triad showcased raw ball-handling and a sharp stroke from downtown. Crisp footwork and soft touches near the rim. Rebounded sufficiently and showcased effective outlet passes. Would have liked to see him maximize his physical advantages, particularly in mismatches in the post, given his size and height. Overall, Thompson’s performance reflects a promising talent.
