Daniel Siehndel | Prep Hoops Scout
Daniel Siehndel joined Prep Hoops in the summer of 2025, bringing more than a decade of experience in the athletic world across multiple roles. A former Division I football player, he competed at both the University of Northern Colorado and Southeast Missouri State University. Following his playing career, Daniel transitioned into coaching, serving as both an assistant football coach and a strength and conditioning coach at Emporia State University.
While his foundation is in football, he has long held a strong passion for basketball. In 2018, Daniel moved to the Kansas City metro area and became involved in the grassroots basketball scene, working with different programs and training young players. His involvement in grassroots basketball continued to grow as he built numerous connections throughout the region.
He now covers, analyzes, and evaluates junior college basketball while also advising some of the larger exposure events in the Midwest and continuing to support athletes through the recruiting and transfer processes. With a diverse background in coaching, player development, and program building, Daniel brings his expertise in recruiting, film analysis, player evaluation, and writing to the Prep Hoops team.
