In jyles lone region tournament game he had 8 points 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. Meier is arguably the best big man in region one, he isnt relied on to score nearly as much or as often as is a couple of the other bigs in the region from Medina or Linton. Meier definitely makes the most of his touches and alot of his points come off of O Boards and just pure strength and great positioning. He definitely doesn't get nearly the credit he should for how hard he works on both ends of the floor. For a very large guy he has good quick feet defensively on the perimeter, also does a very nice job of keeping a high hand and using his body in the post and not his hands. Meier was voted to All Region Team, look for Jyles to be the best big in the region next season and as of right now i dont see a close second.

Beau's season came to an early end as kidder co shocked the tournament and brackets by upsetting Oakes in round 1. Thorpe did his part to to keep there season alive as he had 22 points and 5 rebounds also shooting 8/10 on freethrows. Nocking down three's, pull up jumpers, scoring in transition and making the right decisions were once again all in Beau's "offensive bag". Defensively hes always active and doesn't take that side of the floor off as hes often tasked with guarding one of the other teams best or better offensive players. I always like how thorpe plays within himself and let's the game come to him but also knows when to take over and how to do that. Voted All Region Player, with Raeshaun Earl gone after this season thorpe will be the top candidate for Region Player Of The Year next season.

Brogan Mr utility knife himself, need scoring/defense/rebounds/floor burns/NRG hes got it and he brings it! In the tournament young averaged 15 points and 5 rebounds per game along with 2 steals and 1 block. Brogan takes it upon himself to play a solid all around game night in and night out. As Ekm's floor general he leads by example but also has to score for his team to be successful, hes a difficult matchup for the other team as hes strong enough to post up smaller guards but too quick on the perimeter for most bigger guards. Voted All Region Team

Kidder County's go to guy for scoing averaged 14.3 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals per game in the regional tournament. Grady maybe listed at 5"11 but looks longer and plays tougher then that. When your one of the better players in Region 1 looks on offense are gonna be hard to come by and also highly contested so to produce the way hes able to says alot about his all around game. Grady hit alot if big shots in the tournament and always seemed to come at a big time for his team. Hes no slouch on defense either takes pride on that side of the ball. Voted to All Region Team

One of my favorite players for how he goes about his business on the court. Super quick guard who often puts defenders into a blender with his crossover and change of pace. Justin averaged 11 points, 4.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game in the tournament. As good of an on ball defender as you will find in the region and one of the best in the state, he dictates to the offensive player what he can and can't do more times then not. Big shot Bosch always does just that for his team and at the right time. Hes an excellent distributor of the basketball and is always looking to get eveyone involved as Linton does have a plethora of scoring options. Voted to All Region Team

Smooth shooting and ballhandling lefty averaged 11 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per contest in the regional tournament. Jayden has almost perfected the tear 💧 from the baseline and in the paint for easy scores. Don't let Jayden's scoring and ballhandling take away from his defense as he absolutely gets after it on that side of the ball too. Long 5'11 frame and his quick hands with deceiving toughness make life miserable for opposing guards. All District is a definite possibility for jayden next season.

Trevor averaged 6.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and just shy of 2 blocks per game in the tournament. On a team like medina Trevin hasn't had to score but what he does have to do and do very well is give valuable minutes playing tough defense vs tough assignments each and every game, grabbing rebounds and finishing the looks he does get on offense. Thats not to say he can't score he had a double digit game scoring vs Linton in the semi finals. His value to the team comes in everything you don't see in the box score! Tough gritty player, coaches type of guy.

In jason's one tournament game he had 12 points 4 rebounds, was 6/10 from the field. This kid played tough/hard and smart. Scoring on put backs and jumpers. Seemed to have a good feel for the game and the system he plays in, never trying to do too much or out our rhythm. Liked how he made the most of the touches he got he just didn't get enough in this game but thats a credit to Lintons defense also.

In the tournament luke averaged 4.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.2 steals a game. Luke doesn't need to score alot to make his value known by the end of the game, hes always gonna play hard/play together/make the extra pass/defend multiple positions and grab tough rebounds. Luke showed great ability to score quickly and in bunches also time timely fashion (when the team needed a basket). To me look is the text book definition of what a much better player then the stat sheet at the end of the game says he is, to get a true feel for what luke brings you have to go back and re-watch the film and break it down to truly understand his worth!
