was an absolute force this winter — a true “Tornado” on the court. Earning All-State, All-Region, and All-District honors, he didn’t just stand out — he dominated, breaking records and putting together a breakout high school season that has people paying attention. Thorpe averaged an impressive 25.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game, finishing with 591 total points on the season. His scoring ability was on full display in a 39-point explosion, showing just how dangerous he can be when he gets going. A skilled scorer, sharp-shooter, and capable playmaker, Thorpe has a smooth style that makes the game look effortless. As he heads into club season, he’s poised to catch the eyes of college coaches. The big question will be how he adjusts to bigger, more physical athletes this spring/summer — but one thing is certain: he can flat-out shoot, and he’s more than capable of lighting it up.

Beau’s season came to an early end as kidder co shocked the tournament and brackets by upsetting Oakes in round 1. Thorpe did his part to to keep there season alive as he had 22 points and 5 rebounds also shooting 8/10 on freethrows. Nocking down three’s, pull up jumpers, scoring in transition and making the right decisions were once again all in Beau’s “offensive bag”. Defensively hes always active and doesn’t take that side of the floor off as hes often tasked with guarding one of the other teams best or better offensive players. I always like how thorpe plays within himself and let’s the game come to him but also knows when to take over and how to do that. Voted All Region Player, with Raeshaun Earl gone after this season thorpe will be the top candidate for Region Player Of The Year next season.

Beau came into the district tournament needing just one three pointer to break the all time season mark of 57 and he got that on the first day of the tournament. Thorpe shot lights out from three in this tournament hitting 13/24 from beyond the arc 🔥! Thorpe averaged 32.3ppg in districts but was also very solid in the rebounding department as well. In games 1-3 Thorpe had 33/10, 34/7 and 30/4. The three level scorer had the whole bag working for him in this tournament. Beau continues to step his game up as the season goes on for his team as they enter regionals as the #1 seed out of district 1. Named to all district team

Beau is having a heck of a season and again had another big game putting up 28 points vs Lamoure on thursday. Thorpe nocked down 4 three’s (hes already got the all-time three point career record and is closing in on the season record also). Thorpe scored of his go to middy pull-up several times, hes got such a nice touch when he shoots he gets alot of friendly bounces and rolls. Beau scores off of catch n shoot/middypull-ups and from distance hes a true three level scorer. Aggressive defender and rebounder this year he always plays hard. His game reminds me alot of how Scottie Pippen played, does everything very well!

-Finished with team high 27
-Great all round game/played with a ton of energy and intensity
-Rebounded hard, had several
-Looked to be ultra aggressive from the start on the offensive end
-Elite talent/ three level scorer and high IQ
-Made couple three’s/one from college range
-Liked how he continued to attack the rim and didn’t always settle for the jumper
-Got easy points at the freethrow line
-Was a bit off on his middy pull up game but still very effective/at 6’3 when he elevates on his pull up your not stopping it
-Impressed how he sets up the pull up game with two or three hard dribbles then stops on a dime
-Nice footwork when he does get a post touch
-Had some tough finishes through contact off of offensive rebounds and drives
-Once again saw nice court vision finding open shooters whether off of drive n kicks or attacks and dump offs to post guys
