With updated rankings set to drop next week, the postseason gave us plenty to think about. Several 2026 players stepped up when the lights were brightest and delivered performances that turned heads. Big scoring nights, clutch moments and all around impact helped separate them from the pack. The playoffs are where reputations are built, and these players took advantage of the stage. Before the new rankings are released, let's take a look at the 2026 prospects whose stock rose the most during this postseason run.    Makkai's stock rose during the postseason because of the way he stepped up when the games mattered most. He played with confidence, was decisive with the ball and consistently attacked the rim. His 15 point performance in the championship showed he could deliver on the biggest stage. Beyond the scoring he brought energy that lifted his team and helped set the tone. Performing like that under pressure turned heads and proved he's a player capable of impacting winning when it matters most     Schmeeckle elevated his game when Silver Creek needed it most, helping lead the Raptors all the way to the championship game with a string of big postseason performances. He delivered multiple double digit scoring efforts, including a huge semifinal showing where he poured in 18 points and knocked down four threes to send his team to the finals. He was lights out from deep throughout the run, stretching defenses and creating momentum with timely shots. What also stood out was his ability to attack the rim when defenders closed out, showing a balanced offensive game that made him tough to stop     Miller did everything he could to power Lewis-Palmer throughout the playoffs, emerging as their most effective and consistent scorer. He showed a strong ability to attack the lane, putting pressure on defenses and finishing through contact, while also stepping out and knocking down big threes when his team needed a spark. Miller made his presence felt on the defensive end. He played tough, disciplined defense and consistently forced opponents into difficult shots, proving he can impact the game on both sides of the floor when the stakes are highest     Smiley's stock was already high, but the playoffs were another reminder of why he's a Division I commit. He plays a step ahead of everyone else on the floor, reading the game and controlling the pace with the ball in his hands. Time and time again he got downhill, forced action at the rim and made the right play. His handle allows him to dictate the game, and when the moment was biggest he delivered, exploding for 35 points in the semifinals to close out his high school career in dominant fashion     Lewis had a playoff run to remember and showed why his stock should be rising. He delivered big performances with games of 18, 18, and 14, playing with confidence every time the ball was in his hands. His handle and decision making stood out, allowing him to control the pace and create opportunities for himself and his teammates. Lewis consistently attacked the rim with purpose, putting pressure on defenses, and when his team needed a spark, he stepped up and knocked down big threes in key moments     Jones really showcased his scoring ability during the postseason with strong performances of 10, 18 and 19 points. He played in full attack mode, constantly putting pressure on the defense and proving difficult for opponents to contain. What also stood out was his ability to create for others, finding teammates with crisp passes and hitting open shooters when defenses collapsed. His aggressive mindset and playmaking helped open up the floor for his team and showed he can impact the game in multiple ways when the stakes are highest
