Surratt helped elevate his Thomas Jefferson Academy team to a 1A state championship berth with a huge performance when his team needed it most in the 61-48 win over Jackson Day. Surratt finished with 18 Points, 7 Assists, 9 Rebounds, and 3 Steals while shooting 6-10 from the floor and 6-11 from the free throw line. Surratt used his ability to get to the basket to make plays for himself and others with high frequency. He was impactful on the glass and found a way to be really efficient with his touches on the offensive end. Surratt averaged 9.8 Points, 3.2 Rebounds, 2.8 Assists, and 4.0 Steals per game, proving to be a consistent two way contributor all season long while finding a way to elevate his production when it matters most. Keep your eye on Surratt and this Thomas Jefferson team in the 1A state title game vs Vance Charter next week.

Allen is simply a kid that is coming into his own and possesses all sorts of ability that directly translate's to his team's success. Allen versatile in the way in which he scores the basketball, giving his teams so many different ways of utilizing his abilities. In Queens Grant's 61-48 win over South Stokes, Allen finished with 29 Points, 3 Rebounds, 1 Assists, 1 Steal, and 1 Block on 12-18 from the floor and 2-7 from deep. Allen was making plays in transition and in the half court for his team with his ability to get to the paint and finish at a high level. The three ball wasn't falling quite the way he wanted to but was still able to connect on a multitude of jumpers including a pair of triples. Allen and Queens Grant look to fulfill their destiny this week with a State Championship if they can beat Warren County this coming week.

Grady is looking to help Walkertown make some school history and they got a major step in that direction with their dominant 67-45 win over East Davidson this past weekend. In an incredibly efficient performance, Grady finished with 15 Points, 8 Rebounds, 3 Assists, and 1 Block on 5-6 from the floor and 5-6 from the line. Grady simply did his job at a very high level which is to be a two way stabilizer, maximize his touches, and help pitch in wherever he needs to in order to get the win for his team. Grady has tremendous body control when attacking the basket while also being a capable finisher with either hand. That was on full display in this one as Grady and Walkertown were in total control en route to a State Chamionship Appearance.

Perkins has been one of the most consistent Freshman in North Carolina all season at Salisbury and a huge part of that is his ability to fit into a role albeit an important one, on a winning team. Perkins also hit the shot of a lifetime for any basketball player in this one. He sunk a game winner from half-court to send his team to the state championship game. In the 47-46 win, Perkins finished with 12 Points, 2 Assists, and 1 Steal while going 5-11 from the floor and 1-4 from deep. The shot he was able to hit to send Salisbury to the state championship game was so special you couldn't really write it in a script. Perkins is doing a great job for his team as he's been a great two way presence for this group as they're looking to get the job done this week vs Reidsville.

Smith has been one of North Carolina's best players regardless of class all season long and he's got his team one win away from a State Championship. In the 72-63 Hunter Huss win over JM Robinson, Smith finished with 27 Points, 6 Rebounds, 6 Assists, and 3 Steals on 10-19 from the floor and 7-15 from the line. Another ridiculous stat from this game is that Smith drew 13 fouls throughout it. His ability to apply pressure to the opposing defense with his live dribble is arguably his best weapon at this point in time and it was on full display in this one. Smith is also one of the more competitive kids you'll find and he does an incredible job instilling that approach in his teammates as they've embarked on this journey. His ability to lead his team both emotionally and with his production as a Sophomore as they enter this State Championship stage is truly an achievement and likely a sign of things to come for Smith over the course of his high school career.

Daniel has been a consistent interior presence at Kings Mountain this season and delivered in a major way in their 68-61 win over Charlotte Catholic. The sophomore forward finished with 22 Points, 4 Rebounds, and 1 Assists while going 10-10 from the floor. Daniel hasn't been the primary scoring option on this team but proved to be more than ready when it was his time to deliver. For a sophomore, this performance in this kind of game should be an incredible building block for a player that has had a really good year despite being in more of a complimentary offensive role. Daniel is averaging 9.5 Points, 8.3 Rebounds, 1.6 Assists, 0.9 Steals, and 0.7 Blocks per game. He's doing all of that while shooting 56% from the floor. Daniel should continue to improve his touch from all over the floor and mold himself into a truly complete player. There's no doubt he showed up when it mattered most and now his Kings Mountain team is looking for a State Championship as they'll face Northern Nash this week!

Wilson helped bring Mooresville to a State Championship appearance in what many considered an upset win over powerhouse North Mecklenburg. In the 55-52 win, Wilson finished with 13 Points, 7 Rebounds, 1 Assists, and 1 Steal on 5-8 from the floor and 3-3 from the free throw line. Wilson's ability to capitalize on his touches and help his team close out possessions was incredibly valuable in this absolute war of a game that really showed what this Mooresville team is made of. His toughness, motor, and ability to be impactful while off the ball are his true calling cards. He didn't showcase it in this game but he can make outside shots at a very respectable clip. His impact defensively is incredibly noticeable as well. He's a no brainer next level kid and is enjoying an incredible last stand at Mooresville who will be facing Southern Durham in the 7A state championship later this week.

There just aren't many kids that are wired like [player_tooltip player_id='2619645' first='Kaharri' last='Coleman'] that possess the talent that he does. A real contender for the top overall spot in NCs 2028 class, Coleman is leading West Charlotte on a magical playoff run and he's doing a little bit of everything. In their 74-70 final four win over West Forsyth, Coleman finished with 30 Points, 10 Rebounds, 6 Assists, and 3 Steals in what was another truly signature performance for the nationally ranked sophomore. At 6'4", Coleman can be a full time PG, attack the rim with true disdain for the opposition, and heat up from the outside off the catch or bounce. He is a truly aggressive scorer, looking to put the opposition in the rim any chance that he can. When the game slows down, he is capable of picking it apart with his live dribble and vision, he creates so much pressure on the defense that it makes life easier for him and his teammates. Coleman is looking to add some more hardware to the case at West Charlotte as they'll face Hoggard for the 8A State Championship.
