Daniel has been a consistent interior presence at Kings Mountain this season and delivered in a major way in their 68-61 win over Charlotte Catholic. The sophomore forward finished with 22 Points, 4 Rebounds, and 1 Assists while going 10-10 from the floor. Daniel hasn’t been the primary scoring option on this team but proved to be more than ready when it was his time to deliver. For a sophomore, this performance in this kind of game should be an incredible building block for a player that has had a really good year despite being in more of a complimentary offensive role. Daniel is averaging 9.5 Points, 8.3 Rebounds, 1.6 Assists, 0.9 Steals, and 0.7 Blocks per game. He’s doing all of that while shooting 56% from the floor. Daniel should continue to improve his touch from all over the floor and mold himself into a truly complete player. There’s no doubt he showed up when it mattered most and now his Kings Mountain team is looking for a State Championship as they’ll face Northern Nash this week!
