Grady is looking to help Walkertown make some school history and they got a major step in that direction with their dominant 67-45 win over East Davidson this past weekend. In an incredibly efficient performance, Grady finished with 15 Points, 8 Rebounds, 3 Assists, and 1 Block on 5-6 from the floor and 5-6 from the line. Grady simply did his job at a very high level which is to be a two way stabilizer, maximize his touches, and help pitch in wherever he needs to in order to get the win for his team. Grady has tremendous body control when attacking the basket while also being a capable finisher with either hand. That was on full display in this one as Grady and Walkertown were in total control en route to a State Chamionship Appearance.

Grady poured in 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in Walkertown’s 71–60 win, shooting an efficient 82% from the floor. He’s an athletic guard and shows a quick first step and soft touch on drives, often finishing strong at the rim. Grady’s size allows him to rebound well for a guard, and uses his high motor and ability to score inside. He consistently makes winning plays on both ends, using strength to finish through contact and a solid midrange jumper.

Grady is a physical guard who plays bigger than his size, attacking the rim with power and knocking down reliable mid-range shots while leading with toughness and high IQ. A three-year captain who switches 1-through-5 on defense, he’s exactly the kind of versatile winner every program wants. February was all business as he scored in double figures nearly every night, including 13 points in the OT loss to Reidsville, 15 against Carver, and steady 14-point outings.

Grady is a mismatch problem on the court with his physical drives to the basket. He is a three-level scorer who thrives shooting the mid-range pull-up. He uses his IQ to put himself in spots he knows he can score and produce from. Grady is a tough defender that can switch 1 through 5. College coaches should keep an eye on him throughout the year at Walkertown.
