The final update is here, and not everyone stayed where they were. With the 2026 class officially closing out, this was the last chance for players to make a statement, and a few took full advantage. From breakout performers to late bloomers who forced reevaluations, these names didn't just move… they made noise. Let's take a look at the biggest risers who shook up the final 2026 rankings.

Cota-Cordova was one of the biggest jumps in the entire ranking based on the jump he made in two seasons. He had a solid junior season, but Senior year he was on different timing. The 6'3 do-it-all wing led his team to a deep playoff run and was electric even then. He averaged 23.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3 assists a game, which shows a complete game and was one of the better defenders in the conference as well. He was a 1st Team All League player with how he dominated, he got to his spots and carried the way for his team as they went on a deep push. He jumps up as a big riser in the ranking, and I feel that if we saw him even more at showcases and during the season, he could've been even higher. Very solid career for him.

Charlie made a huge jump in the rankings of over 40 spots due to the work he put in in his Senior year. He made a massive leap statistically, but looking at it, he came into the season as a completely different player. He was ready to dominate on the block, started to use his size and dominate by going through smaller defenders, and his touch overall seemed better. He went from averaging 11.6 points and 3.4 rebounds a game as a junior to 17.6 points and 9.1 rebounds a game in his senior year. He had a few double-doubles, he passed on the block and read double teams, and showed he could score as a back-to-the-basket defender or face-up and attack too. He's a player that I feel that colleges should be knocking on, as he could impact a team at the next level. Big riser in the rankings as he jumps into the Top 50.

Vigil is a player who I gravitated towards in the grassroots season, as he's all about sacrifice, and he quietly is doing the dirty work that allows teammates to shine. He sets hard screens and rolls, he's constantly moving, he knocks down shots when they come, and gets out and finishes in transition. Vigil has a great understanding of the game and how to get the most out of what's presented to him. He took that into the high school season and was the team's glue guy. He averaged 8.4 points and 4.5 rebounds a game and took a lot of the pressure off of teammates. He's a player that I feel could be a cultural fit at the next level, and he will teammates to step up and hold them accountable. Solid finish to his career for one of the hardest workers in the class.

Burke was another player who stepped up and filled in the spots for a talented Brighton squad that surprised the state. Burke is their small forward and was a player who went out and got it, he moved without the ball but stayed shot ready and finished when attention as on teammates and the ball came to him. He was also a force on the glass who kept plays alive, and he was aggressive offensively. He put up 8.7 points and 5.1 rebounds a game. He had some big games in conference play and had a few stretches where he showed he belonged. He's a player who made a rise in the rankings as he finished up his career.

Burke is full of potential and is a player who can play at the next level. He had some big-time moments for Roosevelt as they went on a run this year, and their 6'8 big man gave them plenty of opportunities. He was a force on the boards, especially offensive boards. He kept the ball high, he pushed the ball back out to teammates, he ran the floor and set up and they'd throw it on the block and let him go to work at times. I enjoyed that he was able to show off his hand-eye coordination to catch the ball, even on errant passes, and go right up with it for easy baskets. Burke runs the floor; he altered shots at the rim and put it all together in his senior year. Burke averaged 9.6 points and 7.8 rebounds a game and was one of the bigger risers in the rankings.

Bennett is one of the more intriguing players in the state as he's a 6'9 big man with a long wingspan, he alters shots at the rim, and could be a nightmare matchup as he doesn't allow many easy baskets his way. He moves well, he finishes at the rim with dunks, he has a sky hook that is improved, and he just looks more comfortable on the floor. He had some big games this year where it started to click for him. He averaged 10.3 points and 5.9 rebounds a game and will be a player who should be impactful for Regis next year, where he'll be continuing his playing career. Big riser, and it landed him in playing at the next level!
