Burke is full of potential and is a player who can play at the next level. He had some big-time moments for Roosevelt as they went on a run this year, and their 6’8 big man gave them plenty of opportunities. He was a force on the boards, especially offensive boards. He kept the ball high, he pushed the ball back out to teammates, he ran the floor and set up and they’d throw it on the block and let him go to work at times. I enjoyed that he was able to show off his hand-eye coordination to catch the ball, even on errant passes, and go right up with it for easy baskets. Burke runs the floor; he altered shots at the rim and put it all together in his senior year. Burke averaged 9.6 points and 7.8 rebounds a game and was one of the bigger risers in the rankings.

muscles his way through the paint while sending shots off the backboard on the other end of the floor. Although Burke is ranked #4 among C/PFs in his class, his overall ranking of 122 is an understatement. Burke thrives in communicating with his teammates and constantly crashing the boards, especially considering he’s almost averaging a double-double over the course of this season.
Burke over at Roosevelt is gearing up to be a force in the paint this season. With his big frame and natural strength, he knows how to use his size to carve out space and grab easy buckets down low. He crashes the glass with real purpose, attacking rebounds like every board belongs to him. On defense he keeps his hands active and stays disciplined, making it tough for opponents to get anything clean around the rim. When he goes straight up he alters shots, clogs lanes and controls the paint. Burke brings that physical, no nonsense presence every team needs, and this year we expect him to break out as a true interior anchor who impacts the game from start to finish
Burke is a 6’6 big man who knows how to use his size. He’s a rim protector who rotates in help, alters shots, and isn’t afraid to put a body on someone. Last season, he averaged 5.4 points and 3.5 rebounds a game, but it’s his presence down low that makes the difference. With Rocky Mountain Fever
, he looked more confident as he was boxing out, setting hard screens, and staying active without plays called for him. I think he will have a big year, and he earned his spot in the rankings this go round.
