Bahnsen-Price is a player who we wish we saw more of, but are going to make it a point to get plenty of looks this upcoming year. His freshman season he was one of the more productive underclassmen in not only the conference but the state. Heydyn put up an impressive 9.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2 assists per game while earning a starting role as a freshman, which is no small accomplishment. We’re interested to see if it sticks or if he can build on that as I feel that Roosevelt is going to be even better with the other young additions around him and if he’s able to even elevate his game. From what we know, he’s a player who can create offense for himself, but also play within the flow of the offense and he easily gets to his spots. Heydyn fills the gaps and does a bit of everything and he is ready to attack on the catch. What makes him intriguing is that he’s already producing while still learning the varsity game, and we expect everything to slow down for him even more in his second season. With another year of experience and an opportunity to take greater ownership of the offense, Bahnsen-Price could emerge as one of Roosevelt’s most important playmakers and an underclassmen to know in the conference.
