Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as always and will get a chance to watch all four games. The Class 4A State Championship matchup will feature the Crown Point Bulldogs vs. the Mount Vernon-Fortville Marauders in the fourth game on Saturday. With that, here are two players to watch from both teams.

The main event of the state finals at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday will feature one of the top rising prospects in the state in junior center [player_tooltip player_id='2140419' first='Max' last='Vise']. The 6'8" big man has been fantastic this season for the Marauders, averaging 14.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, making him a surefire Junior All-Star candidate. This weekend, Vise will have a chance to prove that MVF holds the frontcourt advantage, as he brings a combination of mobility, paint scoring, high-level rebounding, and strong rim protection.

Ertel and Vise are the two players who get the most attention for MVF—and rightfully so—but a third player who has been really solid for them is senior [player_tooltip player_id='2892552' first='Jack' last='Guerre']. An X-factor in many ways this Saturday vs. Crown Point, Guerre is averaging 8.0 points per game and is one of the best catch-and-shoot threats on the roster. He has a chance to take a lot of pressure off [player_tooltip player_id='1728587' first='Luke' last='Ertel'] when it comes to shot-making this weekend.

Crown Point is one of the deepest and most talented teams in all of Class 4A, which is why it has made its way to the state finals as expected. One of the leaders for this group is senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561016' first='Bryce' last='Peters'], who is averaging 8.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game. He is arguably the most athletic and best defending guard on this Crown Point team, bringing the ability to make plays on both ends of the floor and serving as a true X-factor for the Bulldogs.

Another senior guard in the backcourt of the Crown Point Bulldogs is [player_tooltip player_id='1561063' first='Kingston' last='Rhodes']. At 5'9", Rhodes' smaller frame does not hinder him much at all, as he has been one of the more productive players on the roster, averaging 10.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. He is a true two-way guard with a great feel for the game and is dynamic enough to make high-level plays on both ends of the floor. He is another reason why Crown Point is so loaded in the backcourt.
