Heisel took on a major role change late in the year in order to make up for the loss of [player_tooltip player_id='2140834' first='Kade' last='Price']. His usage went way up, and mostly because he shifted his game primarily to the perimeter and took on a big responsibility as a ball handler. His 4.3 assists per game show how effective he was at setting the table during the tournament, and he was still able to make an impact around the rim and covering ground defensively. He was one of the more versatile players at the tournament and showcased how he can fill different roles with his length and understanding of the game.

Holt was a key figure in helping Lincoln get back to their first title game since 2002, when his father helped the Abes win the second of back-to-back titles. Although the Abes came up just short this time, Holt has been instrumental in their run this season. As their lone big man at the tournament, he finished top-10 in steals, blocks, and rebounds, while averaging double figures offensively. And he was consistent throughout the tourney, scoring at least nine points and grabbing at least seven rebounds each game. Don't be surprised if these Abes find a way back to the title game next year too.

Karl was one of the most efficient players in the tournament, while finishing in the top-10 in FGM, 3PM, and FTM. He was also just three points away from leading the tournament in total scoring. He had three strong games to start the tournament, finishing with 17, 17, and 21 points before the whole team threw up a dud against Mt. Spokane with 30 total points. Karl was a big reason the Warriors were able to place for the second year in a row and walk away with that sixth-place trophy.

The Crusaders sophomore played a huge role during their run to a fifth-place trophy, playing the second most minutes in the tournament (119). He's a two-way threat and stepped up in a big way to end the tournament, leading the team with 22 points in their trophy game matchup with Bellarmine Prep. McNeal sunk a deep 3-pointer with time winding down in the first overtime to take the lead before an unlucky tip-in sent the game to another overtime. He showed off all tournament how physical he can play on both ends and the potential to keep growing offensively.

Just a consistent, tough interior player who had the same impact no matter who was lining up across from him. Heisel had his biggest scoring game (17 points) in their loss to Rainier Beach, and still shot 5-of-9 from the field and 7-of-8 at the foul line. He finished top-10 in field goal percentage and rebounding, while also chipping in a couple of assists and a block a game. He really does all the dirty work and keeps coming back for more each time.

Alseth is a guy who can fill a stat sheet, and he finds a lot of his success by getting penetration, using his length around the paint, and taking his time to find openings once he's gotten some depth. He's lanky and wiry, and has enough strength and creativity to be a real pain to stop from getting downhill and making something happen. That's why he led the tournament with 23 FTM, and set a tournament high with 11 FTM against O'Dea. He was also fourth in offensive boards, and tied for first with 30 total rebounds. He's a tough kid and was important in their strong finish to the postseason.
