Price flourished at the helm for Bellarmine this winter, showing some major growth as a decision-maker, ballhandler, and proving he can play point at a high-level. His season was cut short by injury, and it remains to be seen when he’ll return, but Price definitely displayed his skills and value last winter.
The point guard showcases outstanding pace and sharp instincts, navigating the court with precision. His decision-making is consistently spot-on, ensuring the offense flows seamlessly. With a strong ability to change speeds and levels, he keeps defenders off balance while effectively moving the ball. Additionally, he excels at finishing through contact, showcasing toughness and scoring efficiency in challenging situations.
Bellarmine came on strong last year and looks even better this season with Price shifting into a more permanent role at the point. He’s made some big strides physically, allowing him that extra burst to change speeds and get by defenders more easily. He’s also been a little more selective in his shot attempts and has displayed great poise to work for great shots, play on balance, and make quick decisions.
Price is a smooth guard who doesn’t do anything flashy but executes his moves with precision and can create big space with his moves. He can drop shots in from deep off the catch and with big step-backs, but he’s also a threat to get to space in the midrange and splash in shots from different levels. He had a big year last winter to propel Bellarmine to a state playoff run, and should have another big season this year.
A hard-working guard who can impact the game in a lot of ways with his effort and decision-making, Price emerged this season as a big riser in the 2027 class. He’s someone who can go out there and simply make the right reads. He’s continued to grow in his ability to have the ball in his hands, deal with pressure, and elevate his playmaking. He’s got a really nice outside shot and is a tough-nosed driver who can get to the paint and plays well off two.
Price could be one of the best-kept secrets in the 2027 class. He has a natural shooting ability that should become his standout skill with more work and just has a motor and desire to play hard that helps him succeed across the board. He did a great job today of setting up his man on the perimeter with change of speeds and fakes and was poised when finding ways to finish in the paint. He should work his way into the starting five this winter and open up some eyes in his sophomore campaign.
Price is a hard-working guard who shows legit promise as an outside shooter. While that looks like his most promising trait, he’s also been a stingy defender on the outside, and a kid who really helps out on the glass. He plays with outstanding energy and has been a key piece to NW Drip
this spring.
