The debut of the 2029 rankings wraps up with a look at the posts, a group that already brings size, physicality, and interior presence to the floor. Even as freshmen, these players are showing flashes of touch, rebounding ability, and the tools to impact the game around the basket. As they continue to develop, this is a group with plenty of long-term upside across South Carolina.

The #1 Power Forward and #1 Overall Prospect is [player_tooltip player_id='2821521' first='Jeremiah' last='Triplin']. From a physical standpoint, he is clearly the most intriguing player in the Class of 2029. Standing at 6'9", Jeremiah is a major presence near the rim as a lob threat, rim protector, and rebounder. He has shown flashes of what he can be over the past two years with the potential to be a can't-miss prospect out of the Palmetto State.

A more off-the-radar big man who has a very high ceiling is Gough. He plays at 3A Union County High School, and although a lot of people don't know about him, he was a key player for the Yellow Jackets as a freshman. Eli was quite effective on the defensive end of the floor while showing signs of growing comfortable in his body on the offensive end, so when he puts it all together, he will be a great player.

Charlie looks to be next up in a golden generation of size at TL Hanna. He didn't get a ton of usage in his freshman year, but he was dominant with Upward Stars and Carolina Celtics last summer, earning him a spot in the Top 10 of the Freshman Rankings. Cothran is well-polished in the pick-and-roll game, with a strong base to be an effective big man down the line.

Another interior player who has been on our radar for a while is Templeton. Sully has been playing above his age group with multiple teams over the past few years. He is a very fundamentally sound player with good feet, a strong base, and soft touch around the rim. Templeton led Wando at 12.7 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per game, and he looks like he could be one of their best players for some time.

Eli's twin brother, Ethan, also makes the Top 25 of the first Prep Hoops SC Class of 2029 Rankings. Ethan is just as gifted from a length standpoint - he can challenge shots, help on the glass, and finish in tight. However, he hasn't proven to be a consistent offensive threat yet, which will come with time and work.

The smallest school represented in our freshman rankings is 1A Bamberg-Ehrhardt. The Red Raiders had a strong regular season before getting upset early in the playoffs, but they have a strong class of 2029s who will be back to lead them in the future. One of them is Dezmon, who has a plus wingspan and some intriguing bounce to his game.

Rounding out the posts in the 2029 Rankings debut is [player_tooltip player_id='2419229' first='Jovani' last='Spencer']. Spencer hails from Nation Ford High School, one of the most-represented schools in the initial rankings with three players. Although his teammates are both smaller guards, Jovani is quite the opposite: a well-built, athletic forward. A lot of his physical attributes are credited to his football prowess, so Spencer could be a terrific two-way player over the next three years for the Falcons.
